This article was useful setting up my Fido-bought Nexus S on Rogers for 3G data. Three calls to Rogers finally pointed to a problem with my APN settings.
I've finally given up on my 15 month old BlackBerry Bold 9900 and gone back to my Nexus S. BB roped me in with its new OS and redesigned hardware and I even bought a PlayBook... though it's now somewhere under my bed. The phone is just so sluggish and freezes all the time now, and the lack of apps is just sad. I just wanted Skype, Audible, Kindle and a sprinkling of productivity apps on the Bold, and Netflix and Audible on the PlayBook. No dice. The battery life on the phone is finally beyond pitiful, and I don't talk on it that much and the browsing experience is sad. So between email and talk, I have to recharge it by mid-day. No no no. That does not work for us. So I've thrown in the towel. I'll miss the keyboard, but not much else.
Hello again Android! I missed you. I'm sorry I left you. I won't do it again.
