This place was awful! I would not recommend going here. We came here with a large party of 15. The food was mediocre, I've had better plates at olive garden honestly. The waitress was straight up rude and inattentive the entire time. She brings out one big check for us to figure out and we asked her to split the check and she makes a huge deal about it and says we should have asked her at the beginning to split the check...what planet are you on?? Of course we want to separate the checks. She ends up not doing it at all which really made me upset and I spoke with the manager and he didn't have much else add to the mix, we had another reservation to make after the dinner and were running behind because we had to spend 20 mins figuring out the check. We also asked the waitress to box up some of the meals we didn't finish and she had the audacity to leave the food sitting on the floor behind a plant wtf!!

Dined here a week ago with my niece. Service was scattered, food just ok, and comp'd valet parking was a disaster. While dining, my car was towed from the lot across the street under the valet's watch...and I was not the only one towed. Before the remaining cars were relocated to another lot, another patron's car got towed.

If the first floor interior had a less abrasive vibe this place would be 5 stars easily. The food was incredible (only "miss" of the night: off- menu hot & cold apple salad the cooks whipped up because we are gluten and dairy free). I highly recommend the beet salad and acorn squash; the Cavatelli pasta was incredible and I never wanted it to end. All of the flavors were so layered and interesting, each dish really demanded your attention to enjoy the subtleties. The coffee also got seriously rave reviews from the coffee drinkers at my table. Our server was great, really friendly and made us laugh, seemed to really care about our experience.

Terrible service!! I went here for happy hour with 4 girlfriends. The atmosphere is beautiful, casual, yet romantic. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. I'm giving this place one star because the service was abysmal. Our server acted like we were an inconvenience the entire time - very rude. He took a very long time to come take our orders and when he finally did, he took one order and almost walked away. We grabbed his attention and managed to get another couple orders in but before he was done with the table, he just walked off to another table. I tried getting his attention, and he ignore me. Luckily, he had to walk past our table to get to the kitchen, so I got his attention and let him know that we weren't done ordering. When I asked him a question about part of my salad (I'm pregnant and careful about avoiding certain foods), he quickly told me what the item was called dashed off as I was opening my mouth to ask him if there were raw eggs in it. Other staff were equally rude, like they couldn't be bothered to answer questions or wait on us. Our waiter seemed to be the only one serving 9 happy hour tables, so I understand if he felt overwhelmed, but we felt his behavior was still unacceptable. Makes me wonder what's going on with management when everyone we talked to had the same "can't be bothered to wait on you" attitude. There are plenty of quaint, classy, delicious restaurants in Austin to chose from. Definitely not going back here.

My wife and I really enjoy this place. Nice little bar with a cozy atmosphere. The food is excellent. If you aren't super hungry, I suggest getting one pasta dish and one entre to split. It is just the right amount of food.

First floor patio under the large oak tree is lovely but the upstair veranda is really nice for dinner. Food quality has always been consistent, appetizer is good size to share. Side veggie dishes are substantial enough as main course for vegetarians.

Love the vibe & patio situation, more on the pricey side. Ideal for a date or girls Hh
