Integrating the NB-IoT modem into the SoC? The Linley Group has just published a nice article about our CSN130 NB-IoT baseband IP, which can be used as the basis for simplified NB-IoT products.

Until now our team usually had to travel quite a bit to be able to capture live NB-IoT networks. Now, that recently changed, thanks to Telekom Deutschland, who activated first NB-IoT cells right here in Dresden :-)

We have demonstrated first time our CSN130 NB-IoT IP publicly. We have showcased NB-IoT live on air on our CSN130 reference platform. And we have received tremendous response by visitors and great feedback from the press.

The Fusion F1 is definitely a core not easily beaten when it comes to DSP comparison thanks to its outstanding performance, flexibility and low power consumption.

In our CSN130 NB-IoT modem we only need one F1 core powering the complete modem stack from the physical layer all the way up. And it does not end there: In addition, we can even run application specific code on top, allowing really small solutions to be developed.
