Nice staff. Service was slow (30 min for a hot sandwhich), but the food was very tasty. Worth trying if you haven't been.

I had the shrimp and grits to eat and the food was much better than expected. The shrimp ad grits had bacon mixed in and everything is better with bacon.

Amazing food! I was on a motorcycle trip with my friends and we stopped in for dinner on a recommendation from one of the guys I was with. The food was great and the people there were very accommodating. I can't wait to go back again.

I recently took a motorcycle trip to West Virginia with three friends, we were on our way back from the “Bridge” and we decided to get some lunch, we had read somewhere about Gumbo’s so we were happy to find it open. We were greeted by a very lovely waitress (I think her name was Ashleigh?), she suggested a few of the specials so we all decided to get the shrimp and grits. Being from the North East I don’t get to eat grits very often so I was intrigued at how it would be prepared. I was pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful meal we were given. I’m not 100% sure of the exact ingredients, but they were great and they worked well together. I think the grits had cheddar cheese in them, they were covered with shrimp and sausage, there were also various peppers and seasoning. It was the best meal I had on the whole trip and the other travelers I was with agreed. Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices what else needs to be said. I would recommend anyone travelling through Fayetteville W. Virginia to stop for lunch.
