Hola Caballero!
I have found your blog a few days ago and have been reading your posts since then and I have to say that they are written very well! I have to agree with this post as making money also means being apart from your family, events and things. I had to leave a managerial position due to the fact that it was basically killing me!

at the time it felt that i was the one running the the corporation myself! Everyday i would get bombarded with questions, emails, calls and last minute projects which were bottomless at times. On top of that I even had to do on call during off hours.

While trying to balance my responsibilities at work and home i slowly felt myself falling into a depression and becoming instantly angry with people. i did not want to leave the job because of the high salary and benefits it was providing me but one day I just decided it was time to go! To leave NY and the position i was in for a better more calmer environment.

Being in and working in Healthcare IT where its always hectic and unpredictable I gave my two weeks notice packed up my family and moved down to Va to work another position. The money is less but the stress is less as well and i can leave at 4:30pm rather than 6:30 or 7:00pm like before.

doing that i found myself now much calmer and happier to a point that my wife even noticed. I guess its a good thing being able to have a life and at least be able to turn off work while at home because before i could not.

Any way my friend i wish you lots of luck and success with this blog and your life! I will continue to read your blog! The best one i have read in a long time!
