True Food Kitchen is one of my favorite places to eat in the Scottsdale. The food is consistently good and I love that they offer so many gluten free options. I always eat outdoors on the patio so as to enjoy the lovely atmosphere that extends throughout the grounds. It is hard to believe but I think they actually get better with time since I continue to be surprised by new menu additions from special drinks through dessert. If someone asks me for a great place to eat, True Food is always at the top of my list of suggestions. The wait staff are obsessive about meeting each guest's needs and there is never a sense that they are trying to hurry you out so they can turnover your table. 'True' to their name, this is one restaurant that will remain a go-to eatery to enjoy a meal.

Your "lasagna" looks and tastes like dog food. At least it comes in a healthy portion size while I bare through it.

Great food, but a little pricey. Love eating at this place as when you're done you get a good healthy "I'm full" feeling and not the "Oh god, I ate too much" that you get with greasy food. I love their specialty drinks as well always nice to see unique non-alcoholic drinks outside of the typical waters and sodas.

I loved the outdoor seating and the menu selection. What I was disappointed about was how pricey their drinks were. They looked really healthy and tasty, but there's no way that I'd drop money on something I would slurp away so quickly. Food was average I server was really cute but not especially good (I think he forgot about us for part of the dinner since it took him 25 minutes to come back and check on us). I'd say a little above average experience...definitely not bad but it didn't send me away really happy or ecstatic. I like their idea of freshness, though.

I went to True Food Kitchen expecting to eat healthy dishes with little taste...luckily I was disappointed. The food here is amazing. We started with chicken sausage pizza - one of the better chicken pizzas I've had in a long time. The tomato fennel sauce was tangy and the chicken was very flavorful. Next was the edamame dumpling appetizer. The edamame paste inside was good, but the sauce they were served in made this appetizer superb. We had the Panang curry and the Red Chili Shrimp for entrees. As a curry lover, I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful the curry was. It had just the right amount of zing in it, was creamy and overall delicious. I think I have a new favorite dish. While the red chili shrimp was tasty, it was less bold (and memorable) than the curry. For someone who dragged her feet thinking of eating at a "healthy food restaurant" - I can't wait to eat there again.

I can tell I'm getting old. I go to restaurants for the food not because it is the thing to do. I met some friends at the True Foods because they heard good things. A lot of beautiful people were eating there. Looked like a beautiful people convention Some of the beauty was natural but much of it was surgically enhanced. Everyone ordered a $4 juice soda mix that was OK but small and not (IMHO) worth $4. Everyone got there meal at a different time (10 minutes between the first and the last) and that was a bit awkward. My wife had the kale salad and I had the fish taco's. Wife thought the salad was OK but expensive for what she got. I got 3 fish tacos and each one consisted of a nugget sized piece of fish on a small and dry (it broke apart when you tried to bend it making it hard to eat) corn tortillas that with some fresh veggie garnish on it. I tasted OK but I love fish taco's and I can say these are the worst I have ever had. It appears the food is fresh, they use great ingredients, and it is a good place to see and be seen. But after paying $52 for a couple of small drinks some chopped kale with a little bit of dressing and a couple of other things, 3 fish nuggets on dry tortillas, and a couple of cups of coffee, and marginal service I don't think I will be going back.
