I was just notified that we won the 2014 Angie's List Super Service Award. It is only awarded to 5% of all service based companies in the entire US. This is the 2nd time that we have won the award (2012). I'm so proud of our team.

We often give praise to Police, Firefighters and Servicemen because they do dangerous work. I'd like to give a sincere thanks to all of the men and women out there that make a living by working with their hands, especially my team. The heat out there today is not only oppressive, but dangerous. These jobs are often thankless, but they are vital to keep this country going. Many Thanks

Jason, the garage tech, did an excellent job installing our door. He was very fast and the new install of the door works perfectly and looks great. Really like the quality of the door and price. Would recommend. Thanks! Spencer

I called them after a friend referred me, because my old builder-grade garage door was worn out after 17 years. They gave detailed options of what it would take to fix vs. replace the door, and I chose to replace the door with a steel insulated door. Employees were courteous and prompt, and very professional on both visits. Follow-up is great as well. Absolutely love my new door - it's so quiet I keep thinking it isn't working when I hit the button! Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

HORRIBLE. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. CANNOT keep time. WORST service. HORRIBLE prices. First, the repairman was supposed to come at 10:30 AM. After 2 hours of waiting I gave them a call and they claimed the mechanic was running late, so they reassigned me at 2 PM (that itself should of already been a sign). All I wanted done in the 1st place was to add one remote (the reason why I called for the service). He starts constantly jamming (opening and closing with haste) the garage door up and down (not even all the way up or down) with the remote and the keypad for around 15 minutes. In result the motor was overworked and blew up. Then he tells us it's going to be around $480 for "just the motor"; He said this was excluding the service fee and it was the lowest he can go. Eventually had to try to call the manager and we get the price down to $400. I take a look at Lowe's website and the 3/4 HP was around $180. He claimed that his products are better than the commercial products, and that's why it's $400 reduced for a 1/2 HP. After making him wait for 10 mins trying to make a decision, he asks " are you going to do it or not? I have places to go." we waited 3 and a half HOURS just for him to get here and he's getting impatient with 10 mins?? Eventually we get the motor replaced, because we didn't want to worry about it later. Of course after he leaves, he forgets to do something so the garage wont even open. He tells me over the phone he would be back around 7:30 PM. Around 5-6 HOURS gone that day just by waiting for that repairman. The END RESULT?? The door is jammed...Perfectly fine garage gets jammed after their service. Wants to charge around $120 for $15 rollers (or will not come back out), which is probably not even the problem. When he was installing the sensors at the bottom of the garage door, he misaligned the railing on the right, so the wheels pop out. Then the service lady acts like this repairman can never make mistakes, claiming they did thousands of repairs..

Mr Yu called our office because his remotes would not work, not to buy a new remote. Our technician tried to reprogram the remote. It would not work. This is a common symptom of a failed logic board, especially when there is no surge protection on the power source. Upon further test, the technician concluded that the logic board had in fact failed. The technician gave Mr Yu a price on a new opener, and he agreed. As far as prices, Mr Yu fails to mention that a store like Lowe's does not install an opener for $180.00. They will charge you just to show up and look at the application. They also don't do diagnostics on an existing open the way that we do. It is also an additional $125 minimum to install the opener. What Mr Yu also failed to mention is that the $400.00 included nearly $30 in sales tax, an additional optional remote, and an optional wireless keyless entry system. Our openers also have 1 pc rail systems. These are far superior to anything sold at Lowe's. That is a fact. Mr Yu also made a false statement in claiming that we made adjustments to his door track. In garage door opener installs, we did not, nor is there a reason to adjust his track. As we proved when we sent his documentation to the BBB, Mr Yu had rollers on his door that were worn our and missing ball bearings. They were marked on his inspection form as failed, and written out as a recommendation for repair. These rollers getting hung up could likely be the cause of the initial failure. However, Mr Yu declined that repair. Mr Yu made another false statement in that we missed something in his initial visit. This is not true. We returned to his house on what he claimed was a warranty call for the opener that we installed. At that time, we again explained to Mr Yu that it was the rollers hanging up and causing issues, and not the opener installation. We did not charge him a service call to show up again. Mr Yu's claim that we burned up his motor that was damaged when we arrived is a false and libelous statement. We support consumer rights, and we urge our customer's to provide reviews of their experiences with us, good or bad. This review, however, is full of false claims and blatant lies. If Mr Yu truly had a problem with our prices or our punctuality he had every right to decline our services. In the end, he made an appointment to have these rollers replaced and attempted to not be on site to pay for the service. This type of misrepresentation of our company will not be overlooked or taken lightly.

We were in the market for a new garage door and Garage Doors & More gave us a quote and options that we couldn't pass up. The quote was lower than a competitor that I had heard was the most reasonable one. The doors and features we were able to choose from were amazing. The company was very professional from start to finish. The door installer was courteous and knowledgeable. Our house looks totally different with the new door and I couldn't be more pleased.

I just had this company come out after having a broken spring on my garage door. Cody was able to change the springs on the spot. Great service and a fair price. I would highly recommend.

The repairman came with the mindset that he is going to eke out more than 69.00 which is the service call fees. The first thing he asked was if I had any coupons, probably just to jack up the price to account for the coupons. He looked at the door and right away said there are a lot of problems with it and it will take 188.00 to fix.He was not willing to provide information on what was wrong and what was needed to fix it. I had to ask literally ask him 2-3 times what is needed to fix it. When I told him 188 was too much he said he can apply a 40.00 coupon and do it for 148.00 , when asked how much time he will need , he said he can finish it in 1/2 hr. that means the rate is 300.00 $ / hr are you serious that is the rate of a neurosurgeon, who has spent upwards of 300K in education and almost 15 years. He started at 12:31 PM and was ready to leave at 12:41, 70$ for 10 mins, come on guys stop gouging, hard work and openness with customer never killed a business. In essence this is a bad company to call for service, just look somewhere else, and you will be better off

Sir, I value your opinion yet you have stated some things in your review as facts that are in fact false. 1st of all, we do not come to the homes of clients with the intent to eke out more than $69.00. We intend to make repairs. In your case, you wanted our technician to diagnose the issue and stand on site and explain to you how to make the repair under his supervision. Due to liabilities, this is not a possibility. We charge $69 for a service call which includes diagnosis and travel time. Our confirmed GPS reports indicate that he was at your home for much longer than you have misrepresented here. I sent those reports to the BBB which dismissed your claim. Our company policy is to provide diagnostic services for people that want to do work themselves. This comes at a cost of $69.00. This is the same rate as most automechanics, yet we go through the trouble of bringing our employees, trucks and tools to your home to do so. As stated on our website, if you allow us to complete these repairs we will reduce the $69 to $29.00. That is where the $40 discount came from. When comparing our rates as high you make some very odd comparisons. We were not charging you $138.00 for 1/2 hours work. We were charging you $138.00 for traveling to your location, making diagnostics and inspecting your door, doing the actual repairs and travel back to our office. This would have taken in excess of 2 hours in total. Now, the real total here is less than $70 per hour. The national average for mechanics is $89.00. The real issue of your complaint is that we would not stay on site to walk you through a self repair of your door system. What actual business would do this? As for rates of neurosurgeons, I think you need to amend your statements here. Ask any neurosurgeon to drive to your home and do test on you with him spending 2 hours of his valuable time for $138.00. This would never happen. I got a bill from a recent surgery of one of my family members and we were charged $800 for a bag of saline solution. That's correct, $800.00 for a bag of sterile water. We have done extensive market research and we are one of the lowest priced and most reputable providers in the state. It is a rare case that price is ever an issue, but when it is there is a case like this of misrepresentation by a person that makes false claims and very unreasonable demands that are contrary to our company policy. This incident was mediated by the local BBB, and was dismissed once all of the real facts were presented. Anyone here can look at the gentleman's profile and see that he makes a standard practice of making very harsh claims about businesses. Not a single positive claim connected to his profile.

Garage Doors was great to work with, and the installer Tracy did a fabulous job. He was very professional, calling me to say he would be a little late because the supplier did not have the garage door opener we ordered so he would have to go to another supplier to pick it up. Tracy did a great installation job, and our door was a tough one because it was 18' wide! He worked until the job was done even though it meant working until late in the evening, keeping a positive attitude throughout the installation. The door fits perfectly, looks great and is very quiet! Thanks Tracy!

We were completely satisfied with the sales, service and installation of our new garage door! Very few companies are as quick and courteous and professional as this one their estimators and installers were as pleasant as the office staff. We will recommend them to everyone we know! Thanks Again, The DePuys
