It's all too much.

A handy jquery way to fix the annoying IE7 z-index bug:

var currentZ = 3000;
$('.ie7 #myelement').parents().each(function(i, e) {
$(e).css('z-index', currentZ); currentZ -= 1;
});

I had a few different sodas over the last 2 days, but haven't had a chance to post them. I had some help yesterday from Kristy Thomas.

Kristy had the Cas Cal Pear, Apricot, and Magnolia soda, which was so good, my mind exploded. As the label says, "30% juice, 100% refreshing". Buy this if you see it.

I had 2 flavors from Fentiman's. The first is their Cola, which they claim is "botanically brewed". It's a standard cola with flavors of fermented herbs thrown in for fun. It's a complex flavor, sometimes bitter.

The other is Fentiman's Shandy. It's a de-alcoholized beer mixed with citrus soda (technically a rock shandy). It also has the weird-intriguing mix of fermented herbs.

The Fentiman's sodas are good, but not really my style. If you like mulled wine or ciders, you may be into these.

Jackson Hole Soda Co. Strawberry Rhubarb. Surprisingly good. You might think that the flavor would be either too overpowering or sweet, like a fruit punch, but not this one. It's a subtle flavor with a very clean finish. Delicious.

I was concerned. I had run out of sodas yesterday and I wasn't going to be able to post one today. But then I found this little gem in the back of the fridge.

Coco Rico! Coconut soda. It's really tasty. Much more so than I would have thought. Even cats like it. There's a hint of coconut, but mostly it's a subtle fruity flavor.
