A PCLinuxOS forum member, taco-22 just released a light remaster of that distro using Openbox as a DE, either if you have an old computer, want to squeeze a little more resources from a behemoth or are just an OpenBox fan, is worth a try.

More fud from Microsoft minions, this time using yahoo. No 3 says about moving to Linux "But here’s why it’s a bad idea: It really is a platform for nerds."
Maybe they still wish to be bought by Microsoft.
Windows XP is dying. On April 8, Microsoft will stop supporting the ancient operating system that was released in 2001 — and at one point was used by 400 million people. Bill Gates introducing Windows XP in October, 2001. After all, since XP came out, Microsoft has released several major replacement versions: Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 (recently upgraded to Windows 8.1).

Definitely the best explanation I've seen. A shame so many people would get as far as the table of contents, close, and go back to Facebook.
