We had a bday dinner celebration for my husband and three other friends' bdays, all turning of age in Nov. So we booked a table here for 15 guests literally the day before and they were able to accommodate! The food was excellent and the staff was very thoughtful and attentively to our table. Their menu offers a variety of tasty options that everyone enjoyed. Plus their menu is definitely affordable. Although they did give us a limit for our stay. Everything was right on track. They served us all in a timely efficient manner which helped our group stay on schedule b/c we had plans for a long night in Williamsburg. Thanks Brooklyn get five stars!

This place is one of my top three favorite restaurants in Brooklyn! Started going here for dinner and the Chicken Fried Steak and the BISCUITS (w honey) are to diee for! Definitely a great place to share a few entrees. When in season, the brussel sprouts are also amazing. Came here on a Sunday brunch day and fell even more in love! Great brunch options and everything on the menu is spot on. They also have one of the best bloodys in the city that I've tried. Definitely recommend going to Brooklyn Star. Oh, and also the staff is all just really great. Always helpful, always consistent!

Great unique place. Surprised to see spicy duck wings on the same menu as Mac n Cheese. Good portions, nice place for a date or group.

I've been here 3 times, twice for brunch and once for dinner. I am not a big fan of brunch, which is typically full of buttery breakfast foods, but I'm a big fan of Brooklyn Star's Chicken and Waffles. The fried chicken is nearly the perfect fried chicken, and the waffles are decent. The cinnamon roll in a mini cast-iron skillet is also good. This place is very popular and your party has to be complete before sitting. The last time I ate here, the latecomers of our large group had to wait and watch us savor the food in front of their eyes.

Sub par. Bartender was very friendly, but cocktails weren't anything to go for. I ordered the pancakes and pork belly, after having to wait 45 mins because they don't serve brunch at the bar until noon. Only in NYC, and at sub-par places have I seen this practice. If you set up your reservations, and host correctly, you can serve your entire restaurant, which means more money for your business. Back to the meal, the pancakes were gritty and cold and the pork belly was burnt and tough. Pork belly should be soft, fatty, juicy. I didn't bother bartender about my meal because it is out of his control. This restaurant really needs to focus on preparing and serving better food.
