NOW IN STOCK > Monster Children 50

For our 50th Issue we featured fifty of the greatest living people on earth, according to us. We dubbed them 'Heroes' because that's what they are–heroes. We admire these fifty people for their courage, their outstanding achievements, their noble qualities, and their willingness to be interviewed for this magazine. Fifty heroes. Actually, only about forty of them are heroes; the rest are total bums. They're lousy scumbags of the first order; absolute dog starvers, but we had to get them in to make up for all the real heroes who pulled out at the last minute because they Googled Monster Children. Ha-ha! Of course we're joking! They're all heroes, every last one of them! And we're ever so glad they graced our 50th issue with their presence.

An entire bookstore devoted strictly to architecture, design, art, and fashion, amazing architecture selection, good design selection, wide range of older books in those categories not found elsewhere. One of my favorite bookstores, great find!
Response from the owner - a year ago

This is a clean place and has a great selection of books . The shopping center that it resides in ( The Commons) has a speaker system outside the stores. I have danced with my friend in front of Review Hennessey + Ingalls a number of times :)
Response from the owner - 7 months ago
I think you may be thinking of a different store. We are located in Santa Monica near the 3rd Street Promenade (not The Commons).

One of my favorite places to go in Santa Monica and one of the few vibrant architectural bookstores. It is easy to get lost in the various design sections, including regional speciality areas like California Architecture. The store is in a beautiful location just off the ocean and a couple of blocks from the promenade. Stout in San Francisco comes close to this store but has no where near the space of this store; Praire Avenue Architecture bookstore in Chicago is sadly no longer in business.
