DJs from the city convened for "Battle in Brooklyn," our ‪#‎BlackHistoryMonth‬ event to raise awareness of the need for more African American mentors! The night was thrilling and informative. Bronx Volunteer Coalition interviewed Big Brother, Isaac on his journey as a mentor. Throughout the span of his relationship with his Little, Isaac has seen his mentee grow emotionally, develop stronger bonds with his family, and learn to express himself. Nowadays, Isaac continues to support his Little as he navigates career and college choices, and encourages him to explore possibilities that seems off limits.
