LIFE IS A PRESENTATION
Life is like a powerful presentation, which has a fascinating introduction, a sustaining body, and an inspiring conclusion. The introduction sets very high expectations, the body sustains these expectations, and the conclusion leaves the audience happy and motivated, engineering a clear call to action.

At a very young age, you set very high expectations in your environments: expectations that establish credibility, affinity, positivity, and believability in you and in the people, who believe in your proficiencies.

Then, you keep alive these expectations by being positively primeval and much focused in every positive step you undertake. So, you’ll go beyond your own limits to make sure you meet up the standards of the established expectations in order for your audience’s interests not to be fizzled out very easily or making them give up on you.

And in the end, you’ll be happy and your audience will be inspired to imprint their feet in your footprints. There’ll be a strong feeling of fulfilment and success. Indeed, the bells of a life well lived will ring loudly in your heart and your audience will be inspired to key into your experiences.

Don’t be afraid of being watched, listened to, questioned, or followed up. Everyone on earth has their own audience. Have you identified yours? Make them believe YOU ALWAYS CAN. It’s all about setting expectations at the beginning and keeping up with them till their ends are finally met!!!

To behold the slides of your lights in dark places, like a good speaker, you have to make your presentations polish and powerful!

A TRIBUTE TO 2016

2016 is a year that I will never forget. It’s a year that has given me strong reasons to keep fighting in the directions that I have rightly chosen. It may have brought recessions, fears, and tribulations, the triumphs always won. And even in my days of lack, God always provided helpers who helped me without demanding paybacks.

God did not allow the ups and downs of the year to tune me out of the conduits of my earnest yearnings; He firmly holds my life chiefly for good purposes. There were many deaths, but all of them occurred “very far away”. There’s no yearly achievement that is greater than these.

So, thanks to all of you who made this year a source of inspiration to me; OOF, EAF, CMC, GPF, ACI, NEG, NES, ULI, friends, readers, and followers - I thank you specially. The beauty of any year is seeing oneself surrounded by the right people and associations whose expectations only foster relentless hard work.

While I am very grateful to God for a year well spent, I also look forward to having a better 2017.

Happy Year End to all of you!

THE BEAUTY OF CHRISTMAS

Christmas is one of the most powerful feasts in the world. It's very colourful, exciting, nutritional, and it's a time that all families become totally complete in a circle of laughter and togetherness. They assemble to celebrate with little amount and great happiness.

I have observed that nothing stops it from being celebrated. "There is not much money" is not for Christmas, because there must be eating and drinking in a merry way.

No one should be hungry on a Christmas day. Let's share and distribute not only food to the haves not, but also happiness and hope to the sad and the hopeless. That's the love that our Lord, Jesus Christ has taught us and one of the reasons why He was born to mankind.

Christmas is very short, but the happiness it fetches never dies provided its source is genuinely moral. Celebrate not in immoral oceans, but let your merriment be completely rooted in a solid fertile rock. DO NOT PROMOTE SATANISM IN THE CLOTHING OF CHRISTMAS. It is very possible to do this even without knowing it.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His Birth, His Love, His Teachings, and His Meekness. May the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ be the foundation of our lives. Amen!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

NO ONE IS BORN SMART

Who was born with the ability to read and write, and the ability to do the extraordinary – who was born smart?

No one is actually born smart; we all started at point zero – from crawling, learning to talk, learning simple arithmetic, algebra, and communication, to our role today in the society as professionals in our different endeavours. But some people add some extra challenging efforts to advance what they’ve learned already, whilst others depend on and stick to only what they have learned, whether or not it gives them success or makes them smart.

Dr. Carol Dweck of Stanford University, California, a Researcher of human mindset for decades, has found that, most individuals are either of fixed-mindset or growth-mindset. The former focuses on the belief of only one’s innate resources – here, it is erroneously believed that one is either smart or not; thus, smartness is genetic. The latter, on the other hand, centres on developing the brain capacity and “talents” by facing challenges and difficult tasks. Thus, “capability and intelligence can be grown through effort, struggle, and failure”.

Truthfully and as has been confirmed by neurological Researchers, the brain really works like the muscle. The more you use it, the more it develops and the more difficult tasks you use it to resolve, the more extraordinarily better it becomes. This simply presupposes that failures only advance your intelligence, but always getting a thumb-up in the same activity, which you often do, only limits your mental horizon.

Applicably, the best way to survive in a complex society is to erase the fixed-mindset syndrome and get clothed with the growth-mindset approach. Students should not totally constrain themselves to class activities or to their fields of study. In the opposite direction, non-students should not also consider education a thing for “the privileged few” and therefore limit themselves to their own activities. Going beyond our capacity is the key to a better, meaningful future.

What people call intelligence or smartness obviously boils down to curiosity. How curious are you about some facts and skills? How curious are you about what you ought to have that you do not have? And how do you resolve them? You can’t resolve them if you are fixed-minded. You can’t resolve them if you allow the first few failures to tune you down. And you can’t resolve them if you sleep on your strengths or allow minor circumstances to defeat you.

So, stand out, speak out, take a tedious task, and take a special education on your brain. No tests and no exams. In fact, the more failures you have, the better you become. You can’t learn everything in school. It is the extra efforts you take in training yourself that truly helps to make you very outstanding in life.

No one is actually born smart – we all started at point zero. No one is smarter than you are and there is not a person, who can exactly do what you can do. Get more failures, get a better future!

If you have read this post to this extent, congratulations! You have a growth-mindset and the sky shall be your first step of success.

NIGERIAN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM GOES ELECTRONIC
I really am surprised and I am very excited, too, that we are gradually advancing to the e-learning system. The ongoing N-Power e-lecture is akin to Coursera and Edx standards, which are global and educationally rewarding. This is a strong piece of evidence...
