"The statute shows every sign of having been carefully designed to put new obstacles in the path of equality; and it has been publicly sold with deceptive claims that it is “nothing new.”
"Being required to serve those we dislike is a painful price to pay for the privilege of running a business; but the pain exclusion inflicts on its victims, and on society, are far worse than the discomfort the faithful may suffer at having to open their businesses to all." in other words, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
The new statute's defenders claim it simply mirrors existing federal rules, but it contains two provisions that put new obstacles in the path of equality.

+orlando cordero Thats precisely what is happening. Businesses are threatening to move out of state, the ACLU plan to sue, many citizens are looking elsewhere to shop other than bigot run stores. Oh, and if the true humans of Indiana want better laws they had better fucking vote every single time.

"For Cupertino, the launch is something of a redemption. The city had hoped to be among the first communities to get the competing Google Fiber service, but its application was rejected by the search giant." mmmm how could that have posssssssibly happened? :P
AT&T's new GigaPower service will offer gigabit broadband speeds, but only to some residents and at a steep price

what's really scary is when people think that 'american exceptionalism' is a relatively new thing :P

If the legacy of the Vietnam War is to offer any guidance, we need to complete the moral and political reckoning it awakened. And if our nation’s future is to be less militarized, our empire of foreign military bases scaled back, and our pattern of endless military interventions ended, a necessary first step is to reject—fully and finally—the stubborn insistence that our nation has been a unique and unrivaled force for good in the world. Only an honest accounting of our history will allow us to chart a new path in the world. The past is always speaking to us, if we only listen.
Our exceptionalism is a lie, and only an honest accounting of our actual history will allow us to chart a new path

decent place. smaller portions than what you would get in California. the guacamole was surprisingly fresh and tasty, the tomato salsa not as much. i had a chicken quesadilla and a beer and it was a pleasant experience. difficult cuisine to do in hk, but they manage!

great food, great service. i prefer cafe san jose's pancakes over holder's and cup and saucer. huge menu of classic lunch and brunch items. the benedicts are wonderful, and i love my country/home fries/house potatoes nice and cruncy. the specials are often interesting.

i just don't get why people pack this place and wait an hour for a table that serves incredibly large portions of uninspired, mediocre, americanized italian food. i've gone several times where the wrong sandwich was brought out, the wrong soup, right down to bringing out the wrong utensils despite a couple of requests. i've been in even busier places on a weekend night where service runs flawlessly. service is courteous enough, just not always competent. i'm always willing to give the local places my business, but corporate competitors like pasta pomodoro manage to have higher quality food at a better value.
