the cone of shame is for his suture site. they used a combo of glue and sutures. when we had max's done, they just used glue probably because he's a small guy. bruno has sutures in his mouth too. i know how that feels like.

Everybody looks at the Democrats as being better with these issues. But Trump seems to be very much for women. He seems very much behind the LGBT community because of what happened in North Carolina with the bathroom issue. He backed the LGBT community. But in Trump’s case, there’s a lot more unknowns. With Hillary, you pretty much know what you’re gonna get with the LGBT community.

how much more out of touch can she get? don't tell her that though, she'll probably take it as a challenge :P
In an interview with STAT, she talks about the transgender community, mental health, and which presidential candidate better understands trans issues.

The claim that Donald Trump has come to Jesus follows a long pattern of redemption narratives among American evangelicals.

A 99-year-old San Francisco woman is facing eviction over legal fees. The person who co-owns the building with her says he's willing to waive those fees. However, there's a catch.

+Robert Nugent it's san francisco, home of some of the most messed up, screwed up, fucked up, irreversible housing and housing laws in the world. and there seems to be no interest in fixing it whatsoever by anyone.

I loved that movie. But then again, I'm used to seeing movies where only white men matter. Everyone else is just there to be rescued/killed by the white man. My whiteness affords me the luxury of not having to notice such things and think about them... until now. Thanks, Obama!

i'm convinced that most americans don't understand the gravity of the situation. we complain about the various shades of inequality, yet still we idolize the billionaire terrorists and let them off the hook, even when we say we don't.

Symantec had a hard time keeping a body in the CEO office for awhile a few years ago. This came about after it sold 51% of itself to a Chinese company that was a business subsidiary of the government of China. This sale caused one of Symantec’s major customers - the US Government - to discontinue its widespread use of Symantec Anti-virus and to switch to a major competitor.
oh ok, i was wondering for many years why certain corporations dropped symc products quickly. not that i would have any experience with that haha.

Oh dear. I'm going to have a busy few days.

If you use a Symantec or Norton product, now would be a good time to update.

+Ed Hong lol not quite. tortoise, turtle, tortuga all come from the same latin/frankish root. torture comes from latin, torquere, to twist. but yes a treadmill can be torture on the shins, even if you move like a turtle.

decent place. smaller portions than what you would get in California. the guacamole was surprisingly fresh and tasty, the tomato salsa not as much. i had a chicken quesadilla and a beer and it was a pleasant experience. difficult cuisine to do in hk, but they manage!

great food, great service. i prefer cafe san jose's pancakes over holder's and cup and saucer. huge menu of classic lunch and brunch items. the benedicts are wonderful, and i love my country/home fries/house potatoes nice and cruncy. the specials are often interesting.

i just don't get why people pack this place and wait an hour for a table that serves incredibly large portions of uninspired, mediocre, americanized italian food. i've gone several times where the wrong sandwich was brought out, the wrong soup, right down to bringing out the wrong utensils despite a couple of requests. i've been in even busier places on a weekend night where service runs flawlessly. service is courteous enough, just not always competent. i'm always willing to give the local places my business, but corporate competitors like pasta pomodoro manage to have higher quality food at a better value.
