I read your article on Photochromics. My question is, that within any given temperature, will the new Signature lens be as dark as the Xtractive lens? Which one will be darker under a hat visor? How noticeable is the indoor tint on the xtractive in real life with an AR coating?
I am trying to decide on what lens to get in a new pair of glasses. thanks
Good post! I've been a wearer of high refractive glass lenses for years. Much tougher against scratches compared to plastic and easy to make them spotless. One thing that has frustrated me to no end is that after a while AR coating seems to smudge as it "peels" off. Is recoating possible? Is there a provider that can do a better job? I was considering ordering my next pair without AR until I read your post.
