We are excited about our official announcement of our EMS division's deployment of blood products in the field for critically ill and injured patients. The addition of this program, once only performed on air ambulances, makes us one of the first in the nation to be able to provide this advanced care on our ground ambulances. Check out our article we put together on our news page.

We have had a lot of questions about Robert Arnold's investigative report involving three fire trucks that were ordered to be turned over to Harris County ESD 48 Fire Department only days before our historic 2016 flood and recovery efforts.

If you are curious what has happened to the fire trucks and equipment sitting idle for the last eight months, check out Channel 2's report below.

Please "share" this update with your friends and help us dis-spell inaccurate reports and panic about the Katy area flooding due to planned future water releases. The affected area is northeast of Clay and Highway 6 which is over 5-1/2 miles from the closest edge of our district and miles east of what is generally considered Katy.

What do you love about firefighters? We asked the kids at Golbow Elementary what they loved and here is what they said. Thank you Golbow Elementary Health and Wellness Fair and Katy ISD for having us out to your event.

Please take a second to share this video and help us get the word out that our Community Team would love to do more events like this in the Katy area.

Have you called a Blitz in your territory?  We had a great time in one of our neighborhoods and were amazed at not only the response but the results.  Check it out and share.

We are excited to be partnering with the Texas Gulf Coast Red Cross and Kingsland Baptist's "Caring for Katy" program to bring the first ever Smoke Alarm Blitz to the Katy area. Memorial Parkway subdivision is the first community we will be working with but we would like to come to your neighborhood next. Please 'Share' this post and let's make the Katy are a safer place to work and live!
