This place has by far the best vegetarian food in all of Wilmington. The lentil burger is night and day superior to your typical black bean burger. They really know what they're doing. If you crave meat taste, try the tempeh gyro. It literally tastes like grilled meat. I love this place!!!!!!!!!!!

The sweet potato roll and plantains I paired for a quick lunch was delicious! Vegan brownie to follow as soon as I have room in my belly again. ;)

It was my first time there but certainly not my last. Staff was very friendly and down to earth. The atmosphere was very aesthetically pleasing and calm. I had a Chipotle avacado lentil burger which with fried plantains, while my partner had the avacado pita melt with a bean chili soup. My partner got sweet tea and it was honestly the best sweet tea we've ever had at a restaurant. Everything tasted like it was handmade with care. All was vegan and all was extremely delicious. The menu labeled everything out clearly as to what could made vegan, was vegan and/or gluten-free, so no guess work or questioning was involved. I even got a vegan peanut butter cookie on the way out. When we paid I was given a copy of wilmington vegan dining, giving me more options to eat out. Both my partner and I agreed that it was a 10/10 experience.

They have an incredible number of options of vegan and gluten free dishes, and a nice selection of sensible portions at smaller prices so you can grab several for the table and try them all. The staff is help, friendly, and always available. Definitely worth the drive for a great lunch. Double-check the hours, they shut down between lunch and dinner service.

Don't let "gourmet" scare you away this place was very fairly priced. Sandwiches averaged around $10 but came with your choice of a fun side like plantains or refried lentils. With the amount of quality ingredients in each menu choice it is worth every penny. They will also accommodate vegan diets for no extra charge. The food was very tasty and I will be returning soon.
