Hangout Apps  -

is there any way to fix/reset the layout of the app?  mine's stuck with this compacted contact list on the right that can't be resized.  In the attached photo, the blue is just my PC's desktop.  Nowhere to grab the window borders.  restarting doesn't help.  killing all the Chrome processes doesn't help.

it's worth mentioning that uninstalling/re-installing Hangouts did reset some aspects of the UI... I can now actually view my contact list.  However I'm now unable to move the desktop "widget".  When I hover over the main icon, the smaller green circle w/ the arrows does show up in the lower/right area, but I can't actually drag the widget with it.

This might be an Aero transparency-related issue... my "glass" effect isn't working now (related to some other issues, mostly KB2670838), hence why the UI has the solid white box around the main green icon.

Looking in the source for this app here:
C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\knipolnnllmklapflnccelgolnpehhpl\2014.1112.433.1_0

I can see a number of styles for transparent vs. non-transparent UI... so the non-transparent style just seems broken.

seats were comfy, seemed clean as a modern, new theater should be. Sound was jacked-up, though. All the center-channel dialog was coming out of the right corner... it's just distracting. Friend went back a week later and had the same experience.

I've only tried two dishes from this place.. the chicken tikka masala & their chicken shahi korma. Both were fantastic. Haven't found another Indian place in 10 miles that makes a Korma sauce that's as creamy, savory & delicious. Yes, from a service perspective, they're a bit disorganized and unprofessional. But the food is good, so I hope they can stay open! Lots of competition in the area and from what I've seen, the other places are busier....

Met my mom here for lunch on a Wednesday and there were only about 7-8 other people eating at the time. She had their chicken pho & I had the beef/meatball combo. Both dishes were very good and pretty large in size. Waiter was friendly and the food came out pretty fast. Pho Pasteur 2 in Carrolton has been one of my favorites, but 45 Mint is much closer and just as good IMO. Some might say their simple menu is more "Americanized" or less authentic... but if the food is good, I don't really care! I look forward to coming back w/ friends & co-workers.

Pepper Smash rocks! The waiters & bartender were friendly, accommodating and funny as hell. The menu has as much character as the staff and we wished we could have tried more. The Smoking Dr. Pepper was a simple yet tasty play on my favorite soda and all the other cocktails we tried were equally good. The menu seems to draw from flavors all over the world, especially India and the Mediterranean. The actual menu differs a little from what was published online, mostly with the addition of a few things. The über cheesecake was indeed über.
