Open admissions for Master's Programme in Language Technology!

We have a number of places available in our Master's Programme in Language Technology at University of Gothenburg.

The programme will give students a hands-on practical training based on well-grounded theory, enabling them to pursue a specialist career in the area of language technology.

A language technology specialist can work as a developer, researcher or project manager in diverse areas such as text analysis, information retrieval, automatic translation, speech technology, user interface design, and game development.

MLT is an international programme taught in English by researchers who are engaged in developing the latest technologies within language technology.

The programme is run jointly by Humanities and Information Technology Faculties at University of Gothenburg, and Computer Science at Chalmers University of Technology. Students will also get access to the Centre for Language Technology, an interdisciplinary centre where ideas and projects become reality.

The full programme description and entrance requirements can be found on the web pages at

http://www.flov.gu.se/mlt/

Application deadline for international students is 15 January, especially those in need of a resident permit. Note that students that have a citizenship in a EU/EEA country are not required to pay application or tuition fees.
