I once dreamt that Mary Poppins was interrupted by a monster truck rally crashing through the matte painting while a muscular black man at the helm wearing sunglasses shouted YEEEEAAAAH! as the film was invaded by blobs of the colour red. I don't think Sigmund Freud could interpret that from the manual.

That is the weirdest dream I've ever heard.

One Direction clearly have some serious problems with organ thieves, these girls apparently grab their hearts and act like they already own them.

+Lori Kenny It was a joke. In the song they say maybe its the way she walked straight into my heart and stole it. She was joking.

I don't think I would be in the situation I am now with online stuff compared to yours if I was a woman, which is double standards and horrible, but even so, there was a time when I was being cyberstalked by some creep from the other side of the sea, despite being a man. Remember I mentioned the guy who made jokes about curing me with electroshock therapy, that was the creep who cyberstalked me. I can't imagine what Anita Sarkeesian and you are going through online cause you're women, I'm a dude and I was singled out for being autistic, once in my life. And it's hard to articulate that empathy for your situation given how rare that scenario seems. I've done at least two blog posts about this sort of thing before, I hoped somebody would read them, not sure if many ever did. But it explains so much.

Solanin by Inio Asano might fit the bill. I haven't read that many superhero comics because of geographical, expensive and insular nature of the fandom reasons but I'll certainly admit to reading more of them than Tim Burton would. I feel like a dodgy nerd for not being experienced/good at certain fields of fandom like comics/video games that should appeal to me but just never worked out. I like reading some comics but the very small amount I find appealing is enough. Also the comics fandom is scary and makes me wanna 'stay out of Riverdale'.

So I'm in a situation where I started writing an internet horror trilogy way back in 2007, when the internet started going through some Once Upon A Time In The West level changes in terms of what attitudes were accepted online if not in real life, and part of this began as a coping mechanism to explain what happened to me back then, only filtered through a potential novel franchise where trolls get offed like it's 1954 Godzilla attacking /b/ instead of Tokyo. As a result, I've been very confused as to how to articulate to people why the words 'special snowflake' make me get out my salt shaker sprinkling it on whatever comes out of their mouth next, since that kinda cop out disclaimer was used to justify the actions of people who hurt me from across the other side of an ocean. I try to be accommodating with the TW stuff given my own experiences yet Tumblr's recent behaviour makes me wonder whether the people on there realise what exactly I, an otherwise straight, white autistic male, have gone through at the hands of people who should know better than to fling hateful bile at complete strangers who're having a hard time.

I saw Aladdin in cinemas when I was about three, and I belted out More To Me atop a playground overlooking a Dracula castle theme restaurant. In a Batman costume. Yeah. I also never saw The Lion King in cinemas because my autistic audiosensitivity couldn't handle it, and even on VHS the roaring lions scared me, so as an adult I feel weird cause other people be like: "OMG I LOVE LION KING" and I'm like "I'm haunted by my lack of nostalgia for this movie because I associate The Lion King with shame and guilt cause everybody else saw it back then but me".

I don't try and hit on women online, not just because I'm trying to be a good person, that would be too simple, cause deep down I know it's not my being wonderful that's to blame for my being courteous to ladies on social media, it's because I saw Perfect Blue playing on SBS TV when I was twelve and ever since I'm like "It's really sad that my slightly elevated empathy for women being harassed online was the result of me being scarred for life by a Satoshi Kon anime I should not have been watching at such an impressionable age thinking it had boobs in it."

Interesting. Which Satoshi Kon anime was it?

Introduction
That dude who once tried to test a theory that Asperger's patients like himself viewed anime differently to "normal" people and found out it was all a matter of taste. He's also quite nice if you get to know him.
