Key Point: Domestic Violence is often invisible and in too many cases, goes undiscussed. 1 in 4 women (and 1 in 7 men) suffer violence at the hands of a partner.  It's a problem that each of us needs to play a part in fixing.

Author of the novels: LOST EXIT, FIGHT CARD: HARD ROAD, and FIGHT CARD: CAN'T MISS CONTENDER.

Nominated for a 2011 Pushcart Prize for my short story: "No Tears For Crying" and another 2011 Pushcart Prize nomination for my story: "Who's got The Action".

My short stories and flash fiction have appeared in a number of magazines and indie zines, including The Literary Review, Word Riot, Six Sentences, Dogzplot, The Foundling Review, Powder Burn Flash, A Twist of Noir, At The Bijou, and Tuesday Shorts among many others. Other short stories have been included in the anthologies for Six Sentences (volumes II and II). I also post my fiction at A COLD RUSH OF AIR. I show up periodically at SLIDING DOWN THE RAZOR'S EDGE to offer my opinion and POV on topics not too earth-shattering in size, scope, or detail.

I have also published a number of non-fiction articles and stories in print publications ranging from the NYTimes.com and the Life/Style section of The Boston Globe to The Bergen News and Press Journal, and raged in print at places like the triCity News, NY Daily News, and The Press.

Founder/Creative Director Story Tellers AP. Community based organization that develops literacy through the art of writing. Using reading, group exercises, and one on one mentoring, Story Tellers provides under-served teenagers and young adults the opportunity to write their own stories which can inspire them to discover the strength and power of their own voices. The goal of the program is to develop literacy, self-expression, and self-esteem.
