Lisa Robinson is a reporter at WBAL-TV 11 Baltimore
Introduction

Since making her television debut in Baltimore at the age of 8 on Maryland Public Television, it seemed inevitable that Lisa Robinson would someday be working on television in her hometown.

Lisa co-anchors WBAL-TV 11 News Weekend Today on weekend mornings, and reports as a general assignment reporter and a member of the WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team.

Lisa got her start in TV on "Hodge Podge Lodge," a locally produced nature program at MPT in Owings Mills that was televised across the country.

In high school, Lisa loved writing, and she pursued careers that would let her develop her skills. She selected journalism during her junior year at Archbishop Keough High School in Baltimore.

Lisa had an opportunity to enroll in the Wiley Daniels Broadcast Workshop while in high school. The summer workshop named in honor of the late WJZ-TV newsman, was sponsored by the Association of Black Media Workers, a trade organization that represents black media professionals in Baltimore. Lisa got the opportunity to meet many of Baltimore's TV personalities and tour local stations, including WBAL-TV, where she would work years later.
