BEAUTIFUL, MUST READ: I Have Shaken Your Understanding via @neilvermillion

Hi everyone.

Just thought I would speak my mind on this new report. I know it takes me a
good two years to write a book. It takes money to have it edited, a cover
made, formatted, and it takes me a huge amount of time to publish and
promote it. At various stages of the promotion, it seems to be the norm to
offer the book for free for a couple of days. But not anymore for me.

This article says readers out there have so many free books to choose from,
that they don't want to pay even .99. I say maybe indies should
unite and never offer our hard work for free. Jesus said a workman is
worthy of his hire. What about us?

Unless someone has a great argument to the contrary, I don't plan to give
my books away except to my beta and review readers.

Blessings on you all,

I loved that the ending totally took me by surprise. I would have never guessed.

Happy news. After six years in the writing and editing process, I published my new novel, “The Land Lord,” as an ebook. While I am waiting for the formatting for the print edition, I am offering suspense readers a chance to read it for free. You can ONLY download the free ebook on Amazon Kindle from February 25, 26, 27 at

Here is the storyline, which turned out to be a timely topic:

Threatened by the newest Chinese import: landlords, America's ethnic populations are killing each other. Bombs are blowing up buildings, buses and businesses. The President knows someone in his White House is manipulating the hatred. But who?

A Chinese expatriate, embittered by Mao Tse-tung's reign of terror and the corrupt leadership that still grips his country, stages "Chinese" terrorist attacks on America to accomplish his sinister plan. Can an elite team assembled by the President identify and stop the enemy before the two nations collide?

[Warning: Though this is a contemporary novel, it contains graphic scenes set during the violent rampage of the Cultural Revolution.]

If this sounds interesting, tomorrow you can read a few pages at

The offer expires on Monday, February 27th. I think you will like the story. If so, I would appreciate it if you would take a couple of minutes to write an honest review on Amazon at
