Keeping the church relevant, while also remaining true to the essence of the faith, is something that I have personally sought for many years.

You cannot change the essence of the message without disturbing and changing it, but you most certainly can and should regularly assess and adjust the presentation to make sure that it is something that those needing to hear it can relate to.

This has long been an issue and the article is worth reading.

The Church looks and operates a lot differently than when it first started, but is that a bad thing? Today, we are obsessed with excessive consumerism, celebrity gossip and the latest technology. In the end, these things are empty. We turn to spirituality for meaning in our lives. Unfortunately, many have become disillusioned with organized …

I have disabled many notifications, especially Facebook. Like the author, I don't disable everything, but when I see a lot of notifications for something that I don't frequently respond to, that presents an opportunity to modify my notification settings.

If you are having a hard time dealing with Chrome notifications, here is how you can get rid of annoying Chrome notifications on your PC and Android phone.

This new Motorola phone lineup looks promising.

We'll see when it is released in the USA.
Motorola's latest Moto G4 and G4 Plus phones offer full HD displays -- and the Plus rocks a laser-enabled 16-megapixel camera.

I don't think that everything about this is "wonderful", but a greater level of interoperability between even one variety of Windows and one Linux-based distribution does indicate a solid foundation for application and systems that cooperate and work with one another.

Completely open? That remains to be seen. But this mirrors what happened between mainframe systems and PC systems in the eighties and a great deal of progress was made and is continuing today.

As the enterprise landscape is changing -- in favor of Linux and open source -- companies like Microsoft are embracing Linux. Most recently, Microsoft announced support for the Unix Bash shell on Windows, providing developers and administrators with an important tool for managing Unix and Linux servers.

Be kind, do things that are good, useful, helpful for others and you may be surprised how well you feel.

Kind words and kind action is good for you and me too.

Which password management software you use isn't as important as actually using one. I use KeePassX because it's not only free and open source but also available for Linux, OS X, and Windows. Thus, if I'm required to use a platform that I'm not familiar with (like Windows), I'm covered and don't have to hunt around for an alternative that may or may not work for me.

Free operating systems are still a goal...

My needs are simple, so the goal for my aspirations and needs is already there, but this is not quite true for everything and everyone.
Linux's most important goal isn't world domination.
