I got the chance to visit the DC Google office and was pretty impressed! My host was super nice, offering me everything from the fully stocked fridge (lots of Gatorade, Vitamin Water, Sobe, Coke, Pepsi, Red Bull, etc.) all the fruit, health bars, candy and snacks I could have. Then he gave me a tour of the office. Everyone looked really busy and smart. Just being there brought sheer happiness to me. I would love to go back and visit again! I felt a lot of positive energy coming from the Google office. I didn't get a chance to go on the rooftop because of the rain. But I can see some cool parties happening there.

Nice little satellite office. Isn't nearly what some other corporate offices are, but no one tried to sugar coat that fact. I always appreciate honesty. A very enjoyable visit, which is what this review board is SUPPOSED to be for. To all those idiot political flamers on here: No one cares if you don't agree with who/what Google supports. It's a free country. You have your views and so does Google; both are equally valid. Last time I checked, that was one of the fundamental concepts at the core of American ideology.

This was the first Google office that I had the pleasure to visit. It was very well furnished, designed, and laid out. A great selection of free food and drinks accompanied the seminar/hackathon I was there for. Googlers are friendly and approachable, normal real people! like you and me! Would definitely love to return if given the chance!

So, it seems like other reviewers have used this space to express their political opinions about Google, and not necessarily the actual location... To each his own. I plan to focus on my experience visiting the offices at a Google City Experts event. I really enjoyed myself while there. There was delicious catered food, including a cookie decorating table..! Their branding was also unmistakeable -- lots of Google stuff everywhere! All in all, it seemed like a great venue, and I would definitely return if invited!

Recently visited Google Washington DC for a Google City Experts event. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The venue on the 2nd floor was spacious and inviting. A few of their demos were out of order, but I enjoyed playing with the Google Liquid (think Google Earth on steroids) display. They also provided free food a drink, which was obviously really nice.

Unsafe environment. Employee's backpack was stolen from INSIDE the office (on a desk).
