B&W Project 2018 - 4/26 - Peaceful

When you find yourself in the middle of it all but nowhere near the center,
where there is clarity mingling with obscurity,
where solid ground takes the shape of water,
where the weight of the world feels like nothing at all,
there you'll find peace.

B&W Project 2018 - 3/26 - Love, Unconditional

If you're being loved unconditionally, then you have been given one of life's greatest gifts, without ever having asked for it. If you find yourself loving someone unconditionally, then you have set yourself free.

For this week's project posting, I'm breaking my own rule of self-portrait. But when it comes to love, there are no rules. After all, these are my 3 unconditional loves.

B&W Project 2018 - 1/26 - Old/New

Once again I start the new year with renewed hope and optimism as I committed myself to another year of photography challenge with the #BWProject2018

Last year I managed to complete a dismal count of 9 out of 26, and an optimistic spin on this would mean this year's improvement chance is greatly in my favor. :D

Using another image from last weekend's outing to my favorite lone tree, I present to you: Old & New. Don't ask me which is which. :P

OFFICIAL RULES:

Submissions accepted from January 1st - February 28th, 2018
Entry must be a self portrait that is your original work and adheres to the theme. Only one entry per person.
The self portrait must be current (captured during the submission timeframe of the challenge), though composite elements of the image do not have to be current.

At the end of the submission period, the Owners and Moderators of The Art of Self Portraiture Community will select a group of 5 finalists and announce and feature these artists and their images. From these, one overall winner will be selected. The winner will have their work featured on all of our social media channels and be highlighted in a post on our website.

Please note that moderator judging is subjective (art always is!). Each moderator will cast their vote based on adherence to the theme and rules, as well as their own subjective impressions of the art and aesthetics of entries (such as emotional quality, creativity, overall technical skill required, processing quality, etc). Moderator votes are final and not subject to debate.
