Lately we've been checking out some of the older non-so-common high watt tube amps out there. Earth Sound Research's non-Peavy ripoff tube amps were actually pretty boss. It's even more boss with a couple of mods. If you own an ESR G2000 you'd like to sell, please let FDTM know or just #sendFDTMfreegrear  ,

Just when you thought "Ok, I get it. Space is huge. The closest star is about 4.35 light years away. That's a long way. And yeah, knowing that, the Milky Way is mind-meltingly huge."

Yeah, smart guy. Here's "mind-melty" for you. Zoom in and start quoting 2001: A Space Odyssey and keep that 4.35 light year number in your head :

50 years of space exploration in a nifty image:
In over 50 years of space exploration, we've reached out to the furthest stretches of our Solar System and beyond! Voyager is the first man-made object to explore beyond the reaches of our Solar System, and will be mankind's first step to becoming an interstellar species. Imagine what we could do in another 50 years of human space exploration!
