Our Story

Crumbs Bake Shop opened its doors in March of 2003 on the Upper West Sides of Manhattan, offering a blend of comfort-oriented classic baked goods, including its specialty Crumbs signature-size cupcakes.

In July of 2014, Marcus Lemonis and Fischer Enterprises stepped in to take ownership of Crumbs and save the business from closing its doors, as well as to expand its product offerings beyond traditional cupcake goods.

Our Los Angeles Story

Re-opening its doors on October 9, 2014, the Larchmont location is the only location in the West Coast. Located in the heart of Larchmont Village near Windsor Square and Hancock Park, this location offers a variety of different cupcake flavors as well as breakfast pastries. Wonderful place to stroll around with loved ones and enjoy a cupcake!

Make sure to visit us at our location or online at www.crumbs.com

This is review is for the online ordering of cupcakes. I ordered cupcakes to be shipped online to a relative that was having surgery. I picked out the date of arrival so that they would arrive before the person went in. I received a phone call on Friday afternoon before they needed to arrive saying they ran out of shipping supplies and it would be 3 days late. They did not offer me any discount or savings for the mistake that they made. Now it is too late to get a refund and buy another gift because it would cost me double to expedite shipping overnight on a holiday weekend. I have no choice but to send a gift that will arrive late and hopefully they will freeze well and the relative can have them weeks after recovery but it is very disappointing. I understand that mistakes happen but that their manager was so rude in stating there was nothing they could to do make up for the mistake except cancel the order or send it late. This is completely unacceptable. You should want to make your customers happy when it was your mistake not speak dismissively and rudely to them and do nothing about it.

Walking into this place may be one of the most pleasurable, yet painful experiences you ever endure. I mean, the selection, itself, is enough to cause you to go into hyperventilation; but once you start reading all the delicious names & flavors of the pastries, themselves, you'd best prepare yourself to hunker down and do some serious thinking about what you're going order, (as well as what it will do to your waistline). I would never presume to know what preferences your sweet tooth has, but whatever they are, this place is bound to cater to them; from traditional favorites like Cookies-n-Cream to unique flavors, such as Cotton Candy, to new-fangled trends like huge Croughnuts, (which now come in several different flavors like Bavarian Cream, Chocolate, & Cinnamon Sugar), and even a Colossal Cupcake which is big enough to feed an entire household for a day. If unsure what to go for, try the flavor of the month. Being that they're only there for a limited time, it will make eating it feel that much more special. Or ask the really sweet attendant for a recommendation. They seem genuinely happy to help. Sweets-lover or not, you're bound to find something to your liking, here. Just remember to brace yourself; I actually felt a bit light-headed when I walked through the door and saw what was behind the glass.

Visiting son in LA and stopped by for dessert. Efficient friendly service. Good selection. Birthday cake, red velvet, squiggle (like the hostess choc cupcake) are outstanding.

Flavors for days!! More options that your stomach and heart desires! A great place for a sweet tooth, cause you can't go wrong with cupcakes! From Smore's to red velvet cheesecake, to brownie cupcakes, Crumbs has your classic flavors and out of the box flavors for the adventurers! The cupcakes are a good size for the price you pay unlike other cupcake shops where its $5 for a cupcake, but half the size of your palm. At Crumbs, you will get a great cupcake for a decent price! Love the variety of flavors. The cupcakes can get dry if you don't eat it within a day. But, who doesn't eat their cupcake minutes after a purchase? You can't resist. Eat your heart away at Crumbs!

The cupcakes look and taste great, but the freshness is inconsistent. Too often the cupcakes are stale, like they're a few days old. This is typical of all Crumbs shops I have been to in LA, Newark, and New York. I don't think they make the cupcakes on site, which is part of the problem. The best cupcake store in LA is "Frosted", then "Sprinkles".

I can go behind this place. They are pretty reliable and very fast with their service, they truly trained their crew well, they are courteous and very polite as well.
