Sat outside. Beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Our server was very nice and helpful; French press coffee was incredible! Got the jambalaya with greens; excellent, flavorful. I highly,,,,, Recommend

So many vegan options! But they are pricey, smaller portions, and not all are very tasty. Also, often a long wait to be served. For me, the first time I went could have been the last, but after three visits, I am satisfied and don't think I will return, unless I get a hankering for their vegan meatloaf (the best, most filling item on the menu as far as I can tell).

The boss took myself and a coworker here for lunch today, all our first time, absolutely outstanding food. Certainly won't be our last visit to the Green Owl Cafe. Thank you!

Two things: 1) The food is very soy heavy, which is disappointing because it's just a regular food menu with soy substitutes. I don't think this is very creative. 2) I'm gluten free. This is supposed to be one of their specialties (sensitive to others food sensitivities). I ordered a gluten free quesadilla. It came looking MUCH like a regular, flour tortilla, quesadilla. I asked the server immediately, "Are you sure this is gluten free?". She said "yes!" I have seen 'flour tortillas' made gluten free, so I was SO excited. I took a bite. It was definitely a flour tortilla. I told the waitress the problem. She apologized and said, "Wow, it's a good thing you didn't eat the whole thing or you could have gotten really sick!". Actually, miss, I get sick if I have ANY gluten in my food. So thanks for that. The owner/manager should take more care in training their employees.

As a vegan, I would love to support the only 99% vegan restaurant in town. Sadly, I can no longer go there after my last experience which was the worst. Even though I was never super happy with Green Owl, I thought I would give it another chance. I never liked the entries but just the sandwiches. However the "Chicken" Dijon had a really bad after taste. So bad that I wish it had been a Boca Chick-N patty instead. And the avocado/lime dressing, besides just looking gross was way too spicy. So I will have to go back and continue to eat at regular restaurants with vegan options. That shouldn't be the case but what other choice do I have if I want to eat out.

The ambiance is wonderful and the vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menu options are plenty! My boyfriend and I are total omnivores but we both enjoyed our experience here. The wait staff was attentive and the food delicious. I would recommend anyone try it at least once - the cinnamon rolls are especially tasty!

This place is flat out awesome is you are vegetarian or vegan! The food at this place is d-e-licious. Their Devil wings are so good and full of finger lickin flavor that i just wish were endless wings! Also the Cajun Blackened Tofu on the ciabatta roll was just the perfect sandwich that came with some of the best roasted rosemary garlic potatoes! Seriously you possibly can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Bonus, almost everything can be ordered gluten free!

Great vegan and gluten free options. Vegan Schnitzel was very tasty.
