NYC-based digital media pro and freelance writer/editor/content creator. Past, future, and present include ESPN, Bedrocket Media, Digital Trends, and Warren Miller Entertainment.
Introduction
As Editor-In-Chief at Digital Trends, I oversaw a staff of 9 editors and 30 contributors providing more than 40 pieces daily of news, analysis, and product reviews in over 10 categories of digital technology. I developed and implemented editorial strategy with the goal of growing site traffic and building the premier destination for an affluent and engaged general interest audience with a passion for digital technology.

I have a 15-year track record of building new editorial properties and audiences in both start up environments and established media corporations. Most recently I oversaw the launch strategy for Network A, an action sports digital video channel launched in conjunction with YouTube's "Made For Web" initiative. Prior to that, I helped create ESPN.com's action sports section and oversaw day-to-day editorial operations there. I was also the first full-time hire at FREEZE, a category-defining ski magazine published by TransWorld Media, where I rose to Editor-In-Chief.

In a freelance capacity, I have written and produced video for numerous national and international outlets. Most notably, I worked on the 2006 Winter Olympics broadcast for NBC and the 2008 Summer Olympics for NBCOlympics.com, for which I was awarded a Sports Emmy. I also continue to write the voice-over narration for the annual Warren Miller Entertainment ski and snowboard film.

I've never asked for my money back from a delivery place before, but there's a first time for everything. We had guests over and ordered two pizzas, which cost a whopping $60. The food took two hours to arrive, despite repeated calls over the course of the second hour during which we were assured it was on its way. When it finally arrived we paid (and even tipped! because it wasn't the delivery guy's fault, right?!), only to discover the pizza was ICE COLD. Not luke warm, just frozen crap. We called back and asked for our money back and were told that they would bring it right over. We waited about an hour and a half, at which point it was after midnight and we gave up. This was the worst customer experience i've had in New York in a long time.
