I had the most horrible experience imaginable while "represented" by Brett Bender of Golderberg Jones. Brett was completely disorganized and repeatedly delayed my temp order hearings due to his lack of preperation until he finally cancelled it all together, against my specific written instructions to the contrary. He billed me over $5,000.00 for mostly phone calls with oposing councel. In the six months he "represented", he only filed one piece of paper with the court. It was a temp order he signed and returned (without my knowledge) to the opposing attorney giving my ex the house without any obligation to make the mortgage payments. He repeatedly lied to me about the deals (like that) he was making with the oposition. When I asked for a written account of what my $5,000. had been spent on, he and Colin Amos went on the attack, accusing me "of ruining their case" and that I would need to spend another $5,000-$15,000 for them to not quit. While they delayed my ex was diagnosed with breast cancer and at that news and my second request for a written account of what my money had been spent on, Brett QUIT. His delays ultimately cost me an extra ~$200,000.00 in settlement costs. I have numerous emails and letters documenting how awful Goldberg & Jones was. BUYER BEWARE!

I did a lot of research on family law firms and lawyers and Goldberg Jones seemed the best. And in divorce and family law, let's face it guys, despite that this is supposed to be a gender neutral law/courts, its pretty heavily 'tilted" against men. As I knew my divorce would likely get quite contentious, due to my ex-spouse was a lawyer and her unreasonable demands, I wanted a law firm that would provide me with all the best legal options. I met with Colin Amos and after that meeting knew that with Goldberg Jones was the correct choice for me. I was assigned Mike Riedel as my lawyer and from day one, he was always there to offer me my legal options and advice. Mike Riedel was extremely knowledgeable, and was in no way intimated by my ex-spouse or her ongoing "shenanigans". Mike Riedel was very professional and he was always available for any questions I had, and he always responded quickly. I had no apprehensions of going to trial as I had complete confidence in Mike, and he knew my case throughly. My experience is that many lawyers fear going into court and litigation, I never got that impression from Mike. I knew he would present an excellent case and seemed at ease as a litigator. And I believe the other side had the same impression of Mike as well. The evening before trial, Mike was fielding settlement offers up until 9 pm from the other side, as they sought to avoid trial the next day and he went over each one in detail with me, and we worked together in crafting our responses. Mike got me an excellent offer/settlement and worked hard to iron out the last details. I don't recommend divorce to anyone, but if you have to go through it get a very very good lawyer and I would highly recommend Mike Riedel. In my profession, you have to know or trust the people you work with daily. So, trust is not given easily or lightly and those given that trust have to earn it through their actions. You have to know the other guy has your "back", and the trust from that knowledge can keep you from getting killed or some else. Mike had my trust and confidence throughout my divorce.

Extremly happy I hired these guys. Jason Heym was assigned to my case. Things could have ended badly if I had not hired an attorney. I retained Jason less than a week before my first hearing and with little time to prepare he was able to turn my situation around. After having Jason help me with my modification i know the difference between an average attorney and a great one. Thank you Jason!!!!!!

My husband and I hired Goldberg Jones in 2013 to help us with a thoroughly nasty and complicated multi-state custody case. When every other law firm we called said we had a very slim-to no chance of obtaining custody, the dedicated professionals at Goldberg Jones saw hope. We were matched to Mr. Jason Heym, who was very clear as to what needed to happen to make custody possible, and how to accomplish our goal. He was very straight forward in telling us just how bleak the situation might be, and as the situation began to solidify into a true and solid chance for change, he was grounded and encouraging. After a full year since our original pleading, and through careful planning and following of instruction, Jason has made our dream for a stable and loving home for our boy come true. We had a wonderful experience with Goldberg Jones, through Jason Heym and would recommend his services to even the most dire cases.

My ex and I both worked with Chance Fewel on our legal divorce paperwork. Our divorce was, fortunately, not contentious and we'd already been to mediation. Chance was completely fair to us both, answering both of our questions and taking in both of our considerations with the legal details of our settlement. Chance is a good guy and you certainly can't say that about every divorce lawyer.

I retained Mike for my extremely contentious divorce. Mike was professional and collected and had a distinct angle on how to navigate the divorce process. I continue to use Mike's services on a consulting basis because of my specific situation. I would recommend Mike to anyone, even if you are dealing with an agreeable spouse. He is timely, knowledgable and professional. He has a wide network and conncections that can benefit any case.
