This is the real thing - proverbial hole-in-the-wall with good food by people who are part of the original source population. Specials on the wall, hanging pork and duck in a glass case, steaming cauldrons of soup, open late. Get 1/4 soy chicken app, shrimp dumpling soup, string beans, sliced BBQ pork tenderloin.

The food here is fresh and tasty. This is what Chinese food should be. Portions are large. Share to get more dishes.

A real disappointment. It has been a few years since I was last here and really enjoyed the food. Lunch last week was truly bland. Shrimp noodle soup was full of noodles and dumplings, but not so full of flavor. Egg rolls were overcooked and heavy. As an antidote, we had China Bistro (Rockville) take-out for dinner; Mamma's Special Dumplings never tasted so good. Rockville is the DC Metro area's new Chinatown as far a stood is concerned.

authentic Hong Kong staff except that they also speak Vietnamese. Food is HK style Cantonese. This is an authentic old school diner and let's you experience the China Town of 50 years ago. Also next to the Bolt Bus stop if you want carry-out for the trip to New York!

Appetizers and soups were acceptable. The main courses lacked flavor end were made with ingredients whose freshness was dubious art best.
