In addition to the Shipyards Night Market, which starts tonight and takes place every Friday evening until Sept. 25, another initiative to activate North Vancouver's waterfront in the years before it's redeveloped into condos has been given the green light by Council.

What: A vibrant gathering focused on local artisans, bakers, farmers, along with an array of artisans and vendors. There will be plenty of food trucks and other prepared eats, as well as a Beer Garden (for those 19+) and live music.
