“We have enough solutions, enough technologies. We should never accept the world to be polluted only because people are scared to think in another way. The future is clean, the future is you, the future is now.”

Just like the title act that prevents just anyone from calling themselves a landscape architect, the AIBC is having to deal with non-accredited people calling themselves architects. It's an important act to allow the public / clients to be confident that the designers they hire are registered professionals with the right credentials and are in good standing with a regulatory body and not just self-proclaimed specialists.
The extreme demand for design experts in Vancouver's out-of-control housing market has led to a glut of professionals falsely claiming expertise in "architecture." And the real architects are starting to take notice.
