Your one statement says it all, Susan:
"The fight continues and I fully intend to keep on going for many years to come."
With that attitude, there is little doubt that you will once more beat this thing.  I'm impressed, and can but hope that if it happens to me I can be as strong.  You are an inspiration.

Take care of yourself, Susan - I will be checking in every now and then for updates as I'm sure many others will as well.

So next question on eBay: I have experimented with providing both eBay and amazon capsules for the same or nearly the same product.  Maybe eBay is a cheaper version, maybe it's identical down to the brand.  The thought was to give the reader some choice, allow them to use their own preferences in product quality/price as well as eBay/amazon.

Your thoughts on this?  I know some others have advised to never give a reader such a choice and some have said it was a good idea to provide options for the reader.

How she does it I don't know, but I have yet to see a recipe from Penelope that wasn't to die for.
Super summer stuffed  Zucchini/Courgette Recipe, now that there are so many zucchini/courgette around.  It's very easy to make and so tasty, hot or cold, you have to try it.  #zucchini #courgette #stuffedzucchini #anchovies #winesauce #recipe #Mediterrananrecipe

Anyone around this time of night? I've been asked to "sell" a backlink to an Australian plumbing site on one of my hubs on plumbing repair. They're offering $20 to imbed the link in existing text.

Is it ethical? OK with HP? Is the price right?  I don't see it hurting the hub much if any, and am inclined to take their offer even though the money isn't much.

+G.A. Anderson   OK - I'll weigh in again on the posting of backlinks.  I just don't think this is the place to do them.  It provides very little google juice and won't produce hardly any visitors, either.

So for very little in return, the inevitable (IMO) is going to be that this group dies - that it will become nothing more than a link farm.

I even question the idea of putting a link in your signature - that's fine if you're going to post something useful, interesting or informative; if the post is "Hey, look at my hub!", with a link in the signature, it will still fill the page to the point it isn't worth searching through it.

I hate to be a grouch, but this just isn't the place to get your backlinks from.  Put them on your own page, on FB pages, Twitter pages, Pinterest, etc.

A look back out ourselves as we were children growing up, and what our children today are missing out on.   Are we doing them a favor by denying them the experiences we had?  Well worth the read and quite thought provoking.

There are several threads in HP forums about a scraper that is stealing hundreds or thousands of hubs to republish as their own.  I've filed some 69 DMCA's with google up to now, and others have filed dozens to hundreds.  Hopefully, google will deindex the various sites.

At this point my own plan is to file several each day with Adsense in the hopes of getting the thief's adsense account pulled.  When (if) it is, I will begin filing with the site host to get it all taken down.

Any other thoughts or suggestions?

You can find your own work by searching for: www. (site URL) .com/?=(your HP name) and scanning down the list shown.  This probably won't find them all, but will find many if not most of your own stolen work.
