Mycelium can pay to BIP70 requests? If yes, are there any plans to have it also generate these? For a product I am working on I would need a web wallet that can request payments to BIP32 extended public keys.

In fact BIP70 says this on the scripts: "This is optional to enable future extensions to this protocol that derive Outputs from a master public key and the PaymentRequest data itself."

So would that mean that the script is optional in the sense that it has to be a valid script and the wallet is supposed to not be smart and check it (if the client sends to /dev/null it's the merchants fault) but if it's absent, the client is supposed to know where to send the bitcoins? BIP70 talks about master public keys right there but it doesn't allow script to be a public master key or give this another optional field? Was that to make the BIP more atomic, small and acceptable? Was there much resistance besides the PKI noise?

FluxCards finally allows sharing card sets publicly. Now you can learn not only with your friends' cardsets but also browse what others shared publicly.

A big thank goes to +Mohammad Rafigh who made that beautiful integration.

In my corner of the world we all have 2/5 stars on the local trader in a 1200km radius. Would you consider not dragging down the stars just because there's nothing going on here yet? It might repel new users. The only user in a 100km radius should maybe always get 5/5* as long as he hasn't done anything wrong.

Yes, we will probably have to think about a better strategy for doing Local Trader ratings. Our primary focus right now is full HD support. Once that is done we will get back to Local Trader.

"There never was a November bubble and neither an April 2013 bubble."

This piece of information is hard to swallow. The "Willy Report" is a detailed analysis of massive fraud from either (most likely) within MtGox or a hacker who gained control of MtGox. The report explains very clearly how without the activity of the bots the author named "Markus" and "Willy" who spent money that never was on MtGox to buy about 700,000Ƀ, the price would never have reached the both all time highs in April and November.

He closes explaining that he had this data for 2 months but waited for the current price recovery, arguing that the trend reversal marks a true market valuation which might help avoid a panic sell.
I'm still tempted to panic-sell a bit :)

What to do with local trader?

I was expecting that with HD, I get my local trader account migrated to HD, too but it sits there with all the down-side to having money in there. How is this supposed to work without revealing to others how many bitcoins I walk around with?

All bitcoiners that ever wondered how much donations somebody got who's sharing a bitcoin address now have a solution. It's called BitBox and is the result of a Hackathon last weekend in the University San Sebastian in Santiago, Chile. We only had 5h to hack and were the only team with an actual result, so I'm pretty proud of it now ;)

Suggestion: Make the amount much bigger and the fee much smaller visually and add the amount in the pin window instead of covering the amount while entering the pin.

Reason: For me the by far most important thing in a transaction is the amount and I'm really scared some day I will enter the pin instead of the amount when in a hurry, so before hitting send (which is of course before having to enter the pin) I always search for the amount.
The fee never changes and I would be fine to show it only when it's not 0.1mɃ or hopefully soon 10µɃ.
