Catching up.
It's been rough since my last post. I had been hired to work as a Locksmith dispatcher only to be laid off from that job two months later because the business model they had was failing. This did mean that for the first time in my life I was eligible to app...

OMG Nuuu! She posted something! Run! XD
Well, because I needed more money to start paying back my student loans and things, I went back to being a dispatcher after I promised myself I would never go back. This time however it is with a Locksmith office.  I guess it...

I have been with Lance for nearly six years now and deeply love him with whatever is left of my heart. The longest I have ever been in any relationship has been about eight years... so just two years left to see if this is fo...

Two quarters left until I have my Associates degree. (If all goes right.)
One quarter before I start looking for an Internship.
Fight the good fight, right? :)

Side effects of Cheap Bastardary and Wilson's Disease.
I was diagnosed with Wilson's disease several years ago. It is a genetic condition where your body has a problem metabolizing copper and it starts to build up in the body. Years and almost my whole lifetime had gone by with me not knowing what was wrong and...

You may want to see an Internal Medicine physician to follow up on your treatment because it sounds like you've gotten pretty toxic. Until you can find someone, go low/no copper diet and start taking Zinc  and see if that helps you feel a little better... however you really need a doctor to help you get a handle on things. (Hugs)  This is a great down and dirty quick chart of how to start on a low copper diet for Wilson's Disease. http://gicare.com/diets/copper-restriction/  There is also this website that I have also found helpful by the Wilson's Disease Association http://www.wilsonsdisease.org/wilson-disease/wilsondisease-diet.php

A little much price wise if they want their name to get out there. Do you know if they are on Spotify or on tour?
They have a nice 60s Beatles sound.

Warning: Diet related.
I have been keeping track of my food intake over the last two months with a phone app called "SparkPeople Diet and Food Tracker" that I think I picked up on the Amazon free app of the day. As a person with Wilson's Disease, I...

Blog post #2
Last night my daughter had a sideshow gig in between bands at a venue in Shoreline. I wanted to go so I could finally be there for one of her shows, but she told me not to come. Her reasons were that she would be doing a new ...

Hard to believe it has been almost a year since I posted last. The update is that I had been brought on the Texture Art team of Winterleaf Entertainment, Inc as a Texture artist beginning Christmas Eve 2012 and have been doing that when I'm not working my day job. Right now at WLE there is no revenue until there is a game out there to demonstrate and sell, so it is an unpaid position. I have been treating it as I would any job and giving it my best so I can evolve my skills and become the texture artist I would like to be. I am still struggling and have to pay back my student loan out of my part time day job money. Was this worth the two years of school to follow a dream even though I'm still very financially poor at the moment? Yes. :)

Introduction
Hi, I'm an adult with two grown children who decided for some insane reason to change careers right before the economy fell through. I know I'm not alone. There are many doing the same thing. When I post I hope it's helpful for you who are in the same circumstances as myself.
I have since obtained my new Associates Degree in Applied Science: Digital Gaming and Media and feel so excited for the new road ahead.
