Mission-critical SaaS Apps like ERP are a business sell, not an IT sell, according to Infor CEO Charles Phillips, but database and middleware conflicts of interest complicate the cloud-first imperative at Oracle and SAP, he says.
Phillips says Infor can sell SaaS ERP to C-level and line-of-business execs without worrying about also selling databases and middleware to IT as Oracle and SAP do.
