This has been a highly popular post but I am getting a number of requests asking me to interpret found playing cards. I cannot offer interpretations that are implicit, I can only suggest what these can relate to in terms of Tarot and that is, again, just superficial meaning in a case like this. It is by no means definitive. I'm not there, doing a reading. I'm also limited in terms of my free time to reply. I'd say you could work with what it suggests to you. Take note of what was on your mind when you found them, keep it if it feels like a good nudge toward things, maybe putting it in a journal or using it as a bookmark. If you feel it's not positive or constructive you could put it back, face down (or better yet in the trash as it's not nice to litter). The last post did not have reply turned on, but referenced the ace of "clover", I assume that means clubs, in Tarot (and again this is just MY interpretation) that's wands and an Ace is some new awareness, new possibilities, with Wands that is your sense of challenge and constructiveness. Perhaps a new phase in work or setting a challenge for yourself. How do you get in touch with your creative fire? Are you getting into a new work out routine or burning up some old stress constructively? Just some thoughts.

Meg, as to the found Joker, it could be literally someone having a little fun with you! Jokers are wild cards, like the Fool in the Tarot they remind us that we are on a path of discovery, free to change the outcomes or to open to possibilities beyond what we know is limiting us. I'd take it as a good sign :) - T.

I found the corner of a ten of spades the other day, a good sign that my part in a lesson that has involved a lot of analysing is over :)
