I was at Wrayco this morning, offering assistance to workers whose plant is about to close--in addition to consulting on resumes, the main thing I do is to share principles of decision-action (or prayer, if they choose "the religious version"). As I was out there this morning, I made a big discovery.

Believing that God has messages for our world, and that we can achieve better communication with his indwelling spirit, today I started anew. To gain a new level of listening, to get on the same wavelength with the broadcast, I began by imagining what some messages might be. Come and see--listen (smile).

We avoid relativism while acknowledging that one person's truth can differ from that of another person--if we recognize that truth is many-sided. But we often emphasize one side more than others. Seeking truth in its wholeness helps us increasingly to enjoy the experience of living the truth.

Can we really have a spiritual renaissance in our own time? Why should we assume that the spiritual forces are impotent before contrasting forces? Let's unite in spiritual unity not predicated on intellectual uniformity, partisan attitudes, and culture war position-taking. The point is not to arouse excitement but to deepen faith, to reinforce alignment with the heavenly Father's all-inclusive bestowal of love and mercy, and to commit to abiding in the Presence as we continue taking the human steps toward a better world.
