Not even worth one star. The service was mostly handled by the hostess (who was wonderful), because our server (Sorry, but rude and snob are the only words that come to mind when describing her) ignored us, but when she was around she seemed hostile towards our table. We complained, but nothing was done to remedy the situation. Why was a manager not sent over? No apologies? The food is overpriced and mediocre at best, and misrepresented on the menu. When you have to ask 'Is this what I ordered?' and have to search for the crab in your dish, this is not good. The asparagus that came with one dish was literally the parts that get thrown in the garbage. Any seasoning in the food would have helped the underwhelming blandness. When the table as a whole agrees that the only word to describe the food is mediocre, you then realize it was a terrible mistake to dine at this restaurant. Oh and they must have run out of water, because it was like pulling teeth to keep our water glasses full.

I got the tortelloni. It was crunchy. Not al dente, actually crunchy. I paid way too much to get such poorly prepared food!

Stopped in for a Sunday dinner. Frito Misto appetizer was good. We ended up salting it a bit more, and liked the sea salt choices at the table. Would have liked some lemon wedges with it and a bit more kick in the sauce accompanying. The lasagna I ordered was pretty bland - kept wanting a bigger pop of tomato taste and garlic. Daughter's lobster ravioli was delicately tasty. I guess if you want bread here you have to order it separately, which was disappointing. The wines were excellent. Our main waitress was not very attentive to us - had to stop her from taking a plate before I was finished. She was more attentive to some other tables that ordered full bottles of wine, etc, so it gave a bad impression. The lady that greeted us and helped us to our table, and picking just the right one, was great, as were the buss boys who brought the food and were very attentive and helpful throughout our meal. We loved the decoration and open feeling of the place and the fact that it was not so loud as some other spots in Boulder. There were pesky flies that bothered us while we ate. I've experienced this in other spots on Pearl too, so not singling this place out here. So, we'd go back for wine and an appetizer sometime, but it would not be on top of our list. A mixed bag. Appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine $65+, par for Pearl.

We got entrees, bread, and a bottle of wine for 3 at $75 total. The food was delicious. The portions were on the small side, and we still had room for Gelato a few doors down. Our server was slow, but this may have been because we were in the wine cellar (very nice ambiance). Overall: classy, clean, and contemporary.

First, apparently everything is organic. Seems hard to believe, but even if most of it is, that would be impressive. Read a few of the reviews - we can't speak for all the wait staff, but the woman who served us was sharp and together. We had 1 app, 2 main dishes and dessert. We both had pastas -- fairly good size and if pasta can be extraordinary, it was. The amatrciana was the best we have ever tasted. All courses were excellent. The chef came out and talked to some tables. Seemed to stop at one table for a long time, but we really weren't offended. Very high recommendation.

Amazingly good service, fresh produce, fabulous food... only once was quality off and they made it sooo right, immediately. We are regulars and highly recommend Pastavino!

We found this on the walk home from dinner. We were going to the bar next door, but saw "Vino" in the name and had to stop in. The drink menu halted our desire for wine and we had some amazing mixology cocktails. The appetizer we had was good, but nothing spectacular. I would love to try the food another time if I am back in Boulder. I would definitely go back for the friendly service and the mouth watering cocktails.

Soups: zucca, mushroom & red onion: Both very good. Mains: 1. panino prosciutto san daniele: Great. 2. Lobster tortellini (but really it was ravioli) with zafferano sauce: very good, but portion seemed small for the price. Server was attentive and wait times were reasonable at 1pm on Friday with 4 tables seated besides us.
