We tried this place after seeing the reviews. Overall, the restaurant was clean and nice looking. Our waitress was slow and inattentive. I had to ask twice for the bill, even though there were few customers. The food was OK, although not above average. We won't be back.

Went in a two family group and was a great experience. Food, service, view of the lake are the best on Lake Superior. I'd rate it better than any restaurant in Duluth too.

Phenomenal food! I had the crab stuffed blackened trout and the wife had an avocado salad, both were excellent. The diced sweet potatoes that came with the trout were caramelized and the highlight. The brownie and s'mores deserts were terrific! Great atmosphere, staff, and view.

We stopped by on a quiet day for lunch. The walleye sandwich and Ledge Rock Benedict were both excellent. A great choice for this area.

I've been here for breakfast twice now and I've loved it both times. The food is a little pricey, but that's to be expected from a hotel restaurant. The quality of food and service matched the price. The walleye cakes that I had for breakfast were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. My partner loved their Benedict. On our first trip I got the sweet potato hash, which was also fantastic. During our 2nd stay at the hotel my partner and I hung out at the bar for a while one night. The bartender was super friendly without being over-attentive or hovery. The cocktails were pretty good, a couple dollars more pricey than I would have liked, but as I said before that's to be expected from a hotel restaurant. We even let the bartender talk us into getting dessert [creme brulee], which was definitely worth it.

Exactly what we were expecting. Great atmosphere and the entrées were prepared perfectly. (I recommend the Spicy Chicken and Shrimp Fettuccini.) A perfect place for a romantic evening out.

The service, drinks, and food were all stellar. The salmon was some of the best I've had. Great interior and atmosphere, sipping drinks next to the roaring fire place was wonderful on a cold winter night. Prices are a little on the higher side but reasonable considering the quality of the experience.
