It's definitely the biggest Macys in the country. The staff is helpful but if you can find them. The live cosmetics folks are engaging. I drop on by for my Mac make up. The shoe lovers will have a galore in the shown section. There is definitely a lot of variety of clothes and accessories you can find here. It's very well done in terms of interior design

This is the biggest department store in NY, and now it has the biggest shoe department I have ever seen. Lots of clothes, jewelry, fragrances, home accessories, appliances and much more in one big store at many different prices. They have been renovating the interior of the store, and now it is much bigger and brighter, with brand new lighting, escalators and posters. They made the store much more pleasurable to shop in, and it now has more space to walk, as the store gets very crowded at times. The store also has cafes and restaurants within, so you can eat and shop in the same place. Located in Herald Square, it is near Penn Station and many local buses.

If you've ever not heard of this shop you've been hiding under a rock. This is a world famous department store that you could spend all day getting lost in and spending money like its water. The floors are huge and the view from the restaurant at the top when you need a bit of a break will take your breath away.

Everyone knows the name of this world famous department store. You have to visit it whilst in new York. Spend a day cruising through the store spending your holiday funds in here is well worth it. It's massive and the restaurant on the top floor is delicious and with a great view.

too crowded to the point of claustrophobia. I can't concentrate. There is some excellent merchandise here but it's also mixed with very low end mall stuff so you have to edit yourself and that takes time. It's too much work for me to pick through the riff raff to find anything decent, I'd rather just go to Bergdorfs.

The Macy's Flagship is not to be missed. The window displays and sheer immensity of the building is impressive. Inside, the offerings are standard Department store wares. This is a great spot to get a suit, shirt, or pants when you need wide selection and sizing. I can always find what I am looking for, and often leave with things I never knew I needed... The dressing rooms can at times be treacherous and the bathrooms have certainly seen better days, but this is essentially the train station of department stores in the city so facilities are being pushed to the limits. Get in, get out, and get on your way is my approach to this flagship... I don't recommend staying for lunch.
