Quite honestly, I would actually like to see this. I'm fascinated with the idea of a modular phone. Unfortunately, I don't actually think this will really happen. Phone makers have too much to lose. Still, the idea is interesting.
Summary: Good news: Everyone -- seriously -- is invited to Google's next event. Bad news: It's not on the barge.

I agree that it becoming a reality is difficult to image. The only thing that I think gives it a glimmer of hope is that someone as big as Google is doing it. Who knows, maybe it will just start as something Google sells directly (while allowing third parties to contribute to the available modules) -- like the Nexus line.

After all, the Nexus line started out as a developer platform, but has since grown into it's own successful brand. Google seems to be good as getting technology out there that doesn't seem to have much of a chance (like Chromebooks).

These are all really good, but the first one, Abe, was the best in my opinion.

Nasa’s space probe Cassini has detected for the first time the presence of water ice in Saturn’s atmosphere, thanks to a massive 2010/11 storm on the planet

One of my coworkers put this on my keyboard the other day. My finger shown for scale. Yes, it was alarming when I accidentally touched it. And yes, it was dead when it was put there.

I know not many of you like dubstep, but this is pretty good.

I took a few minutes to try and recreate my house. Maybe not the best, but it's still pretty cool.

People in my generation, 20 to 30 year olds, will be more likely to adopt new technology in the future than their parents. Discuss.

We put my Eviltron in the bosses office last week, and watched him lose his mind over the course of the day. This morning, one of my coworkers put in my room. It took me all of two minutes to find it. Let's see how long it takes them to find it in their room today.

This is the kind of crap that makes me hate a game. I get microtransactions, but this is just stupid.

Last I checked (just now), 5 million kilobytes is about 5 gigabytes. I would love to have the math on this one explained to me.

Actually, I just realized that it does work out. I missed the part where 7000 megabytes is about 7 gigabytes. Facepalm....

I sort of want to play Perfect Dark Zero again, just to see if it's as bad as I remember it being. Good idea, or great idea?
