We started with a giant white board. :D.

Then we upgraded to Basecamp.

Then we abandoned Basecamp... and couldn't be happier with the result. Here's what we're doing now and why it's the best thing that's happened to us since white boards.

Hey guys. I am a bi-polar amnesiac G+ user, which is to say sometimes I go manic on it, and sometimes I hardly remember how to use it or even whether I've ever used it. Today I'm remembering how to use it and stumbled upon this community that I apparently joined a while back. :)

The timing is fortuitous, because it happens that I'm currently recruiting great freelance writers for my company +Scopcity. But first, a little about me:

I'm a 13-year professional marketing writer as well as a novelist. I just completed my first novel a couple days after Christmas (fourth draft, anyway), and it's now out with beta readers. Someday perhaps I will be a professional novelist.

In the meantime, my first love: I run a boutique content agency that serves marketing agencies and marketing departments all over the country with the written content to complete their marketing plans.

In order to do that, I recruit, train, and manage a team of experienced, high quality marketing writers. I currently have four writers on the team: Myself, +Carey Head +Justin Dye and +Ellen Eldridge (who is currently finishing up her training). 

Sales are ramping up for 2014, and I'm expecting to soon face the delightful problem of having more projects available than trained and ready-to-go writers to handle them.

Which, of course, is where you come in. Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
