Here is my state of the housing market for White Plains in 2015...Demand is high and on the rise. for the major sectors of the White Plains market.

The answer, according to the article is that it didn't have to be this way.  I certainly think that this was more for the benefit of the 1% than the impoverished masses in the the third world.

Ran into this a bit belatedly.  But its only a couple of weeks old.  For those who are hesitating to buy, rents are only getting higher.  Interest rates are nice and low and the market is appreciating.  Waiting is only going to make it more expensive.

One of my recent photo-shoots.  This lovely home is located in the famous Fleetwood section of Mount Vernon less than 30 minutes from GCS and midtown  Manhattan...Wonderful, large, private lot.  Beautiful pre-war Dutch Colonial with modern amenities.

UNBELIEVABLE!   Suggesting that commuters INVADE local neighborhoods by giving them literally a road map for cut-throughs.  10 THUMBS DOWN for the Journal News and Hoa Nguyen who couldn't find any REAL reporting to do, so he has to suggest commuters cut through MY NEIGHBORHOOD when the traffic is bad.  Disgusting.

I will add to this that this tells the LIE that our city council is feeding the residents that the traffic from FASNY and other projects isn't "significant". So I ask this council and this mayor...What are YOU going to do to protect property values in these neighborhoods. My guess is the answer is nothing but empty rhetoric. Shame on you as well.

Trying to catch up with photos.  Been dealing with a very sick Macintosh...More to come!

One of my photo-shoots.  This is a beautiful colonial in Ossining NY.  Large home with 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a bit over 3400 sf.  Has all the modern amenities along with the charm of a pre-war home.  Wonderful property for three-season living outdoors. Layout is perfect for entertaining.

I wish I had seen this a couple of years ago because I am in the same boat.  No, I didn't spend $4k on a computer, but I did pay top dollar for a macbook Pro...about $2700...about 4.5 years ago.  The NVIDIA card failed - as apparently they all do...and Apple is now saying too bad!  Now we want $560 to replace the card and the logic board (to which the card is glued) with the same piece of shit that failed in the first place.  In other words, you take out one time bomb that exploded (figuratively) and replace it with another - all at consumer's expense.

The more I looked into this online, the more I realized that this was a monster problem for Apple.  Almost their entire line of MacBooks dating from 2008-2013 and perhaps early 2014 have this built in obsolescence which people pay top-dollar for Apple DO NOT EXPECT.

The video card issue is so big that they may lose much of the creative crowd.

Btw Apple...Certainly by the end of 2010 you should have been aware of this problem.  Why on earth did you continue using the same video card?
Hilarious case about a local Seattlite taking Apple to small claims court, and winning against two of their attorneys.
