Message to Doug Edwards - while I agree on the Buffet Tax, you or any other American, do not need Obama's permission to stop taking deductions or to pay more than the statutory tax rate. http://mashable.com/2011/09/26/google-veteran-asks-obama-to-raise-his-taxes/

I recently rejoined as they did a major renovation - so it jumped to 5 stars in my book. Pasadena was one of the first LA studios and has some of the most experienced instructors so it suffered from its popularity resulting in crowded classes and changing rooms. They finally were able to get the adjacent space and expand so now the studio is completely updated with showers, locker rooms, a bunch of bathrooms and the hot room feels like it is twice the size. If you check the pictures on their website that is really how it looks and I have found that it is very clean. The studio has a good mix of teachers. There are a couple hard core yoga competition types but they are all super knowledgeable and are completely responsive to individual's specific needs. It is common to see the teachers work with students on specific issues such as knee and lower back issues. My issue is sciatica and I still can not do all the postures correctly but the teachers continue to provide specific help (they call them corrections) but it is always without judgement and they are super supportive. If you are not familiar with the Bikram type of yoga, do some research before showing up as it is not like most other yoga. Bikram is a very specific practice consisting of the same postures for the same amount of time led by professional instructors using the same "dialogue" each time in a room humidified and heated to 105F! Those conditions allow your body to detox and improve your flexibility faster but can be quite surprising if you show up expecting a flow yoga led to Enya like music.

I recently had extensive (bad) experience with Airport Marina Honda. I had made a TrueCar search for a 2012 Honda Odyssey Touring. After re-confirming the price with the Internet Sales Manager via -mail, phone and text I came in to buy the car. Once there, they proceeded to offer to sell a lesser model for the agreed price, and raised the price on the model I had come to buy by $4,000, What is really aggravating is that I drove 90 minutes and they made me wait more than an hour. They sent in what must have been a senior sales person, Chris Debonnet, who tried to show me fancy math about the payment is the same (duh, yes but its 2 more years of paying). Really slimy. I got the car and no hassle from another dealer. Check Airport Marina Honda's reputation including Yelp reviews!

This has to be the best Bikram studio in the world. 2 beautiful yoga rooms, Awesome showers/changing rooms. It seems too good to be true. Its like a spa facility but Bikram.

I bought our new Odyssey Touring from Dennis Anderson who is the Internet Sales Manager at Spreen Honda. After spending a couple weeks talking with various dealers and getting a lot of run around where salespersons kept trying to get me just to come in and then negotiate a final price, Dennis was a breath of fresh air. (It is a really a frustrating process.) I got an online quote over night had a phone call with Dennis to confirm the "out the door price" in the morning, drove all the way out to Spreen, and was home that afternoon with the new car after paying the agreed upon price and I was NOT pressured to add a bunch of extras or buy a more expensive model. Its a long way out there but its actually a time saver because I did not have to deal with the nonsense I found at other dealers.

I was in Palm Desert for vacation and visited this studio a couple days. The space/facility is a typical Bikram joint and does not offer showers which is the negative (don't expect a spa experience). However, the owner that I met, Denise, was really welcoming and a great instructor. Everyone at this studio was really pleasant. Also the El Paseo location is awesome and lots of parking right there. I would definitely go back if I am nearby.
