#TGfUChat Fishbowl: Social media, teaching games and PE pedagogy in the 21st century (Live Broadcast: HangOut on AIR)

Purpose 
The aim of this session is to engage delegates and TGfU Sig members from around the world in a discussion on PE pedagogy and the role of teaching games. The format of the session will maximize participation by offering an invitation for any delegate to contribute to the presentation after panel members have spoken. Four presenters who have been recognized for their contribution to the TGfU approaches will speak for 5 mins on topics selected from the TGfUChat list of topics. Their talk will frame the topic, defining key terms and presenting key issues related to the topic.

1. TGfU and teaching Fundamental Movement Skills  (FMS) in Primary
2. Cultural interpretations of TGfU/GCA models 
3. Teachers and coaches misconceptions/misinterpretation of TGfU 
4. The Craft of the Teacher in TGfU
5. TGfU to GCA
6. Knowledge and understanding of games among PETE and multi-sport coaches
7. Children's affective experiences in TGfU game environments
8. How do you use TGfU get EVERY kid in your class to meet personal and systemic goals?
9. Can adopting a TGfU approach enhance creativity among pupils/athletes but also teachers/coaches
10. Video gaming and TGfU (What can TGfU learn from good video game learning and how can the teacher manipulate the video game according to TGfU's modification and representation).
11. Can the new Primary PE "thinking" curriculum in UK provide the catalyst for GCA's to be adopted and truly endorsed by Primary school teachers?
12. How can TGfU be combined with other models of instruction like Sport Education?
13. Linking "Complexity theory" with TGfU
14. Challenging technocracy in schools and sport institutions through TGfU
15. Impact and sustainability of a TGfU community of practice - can a TGfU CoP really work ?
