Yo if you want to read about why this site is called +Linkarati then I have a pleasant surprise for you
Why do we call this site Linkarati? Who came up with the name? Did we just steal it?

Everyone knows the internet is flat, but what happens when you get to the edge? In this daring piece for +Linkarati+Megan Williams explains how to do battle with the sea serpents that reside at the edges of the internet.
Link builder’s block can set in when you’ve made it through all the “quick wins." What's a link builder to do? Enter Janusian thinking.

Really good., but I feel like I don't know anymore about battling a sea serpent than I did before reading this. That's okay I guess.

If you haven't read it, this is a fantastic read. It's long, but it's also thoughtful, engaging and easy to understand. I think Glen did an excellent job of illustrating the search divide between big brands and more knowledgeable small brands, and he also gives actionable/practical advice on link networks if that's your thing.
In 1865, Fredik Idestam built a pulp mill on the banks of the Tammerkoski River in southwestern Finland. He soon added a papermaking machine. As with any

Look who is featured in an eBook now! It's me! Along with other smart people. I remember when my high school PE teacher said, "Dustin, you'll never be featured in a link building eBook!" because I got hit with a dodgeball.

I sent a direct e-mail to your PE teacher, it had a free download of the eBook, when they click download a dodgeball comes through the screen ;) - they had no idea what a rock-star you'd become!

I saw +Jesse Stoler do comedy once. I was at a bar and I wasn't drinking, though, which always makes me grumpy. Even with that nigh-insurmountable obstacle in place, I still laughed at his jokes.

He's a funny dude and you should read this. It's an insightful look into the mind of a working comedian AND it's actually useful.
How can aspiring comedians use link building to built their online presence? I wanted to know myself.

So we do this whole link building podcast thing and glory hallelujah, there is a new episode. This one features +Todd McDonald and it's a rager.

I also talked to +Cory Collins about eBooks or whatever I guess too.
This month's link building podcast we argue about just how good Google actually is at sniffing out paid links and interview Todd McDonald of New Brew Media.

Here's something non-marketing related from me. Alabama rocker Dan Sartain talked to me about his new record DUDESBLOOD, building a tiny house and working with DJ Bonebrake of X/the Flesh Eaters.
Dan Sartain spoke to Dustin Verburg about his new record, working with DJ Bonebrake, and building a tiny house... Alabama's Dan Sartain is a busy guy. His new album DUDESBLOOD is coming in late April. He also recently release...

New article by me. Basically if you enjoy anything good in this world (black metal, how babies are made, candy, etc) then you'll want to read it.

Oh and I guess if you like things that are funny. Then it's probably right up your alley too.
Above all else, it takes a special kind of mind to create an absurdist online marketing plan that actually works.
