My latest blog post . . . aren't you curious to see where your business lands?
How Does Your Online Strategy Measure Up?
If you ask a small business owner about their digital marketing strategy, they're likely to identify with one of these three camps. 1) DIGITAL WANDERER - This is the group for those that dabble in online marketing and they represent about 30% of all busines...

Be careful when choosing a logo.

Make sure you're judging your options with relevant criteria in mind such as:

How does it look in "monochrome" view? (makes a HUGE difference when buying promotional materials if your logo does not produce well in one color)
How many colors are used? (again, can be expensive to reproduce if the embroidered shirts need to be switched out for six different thread colors)
Does it look similar to any competitors in your vertical or other well-known brands? (you want to be unique / and not appear as a cheap knock-off of a popular brand)
Can you make a square, a horizontal and a vertical version of it by moving the symbol and words around?
Does the image intrinsically have meaning? (it's okay as long as the meaning is related to your business / but you don't want to start a restaurant that has a logo that resembles the bio-hazard symbol!)

In fact - 55% of consumers using mobile to research want to purchase within the hour (Neilsen & Google, November 2013)
