Jift: Post once, share everywhere!

These days, many of us have multiple social network accounts, such as Facebook, Google+ and Twitter. It becomes increasingly more difficult and tedious to share a single post everywhere, using different URLs or dedicated apps for each account. However, this seems no longer a problem with the new app Jift.

Packing in an all-in-one social UI, Jift combines your Google+, Facebook and Twitter accounts together, allowing you to post anything that automatically gets shared simultaneously across all your accounts.

Although the app crashes at times, the overall experience is quite awesome.

I haven't been on Google+ lately. I hope to rectify that soon as I better manage my networks. :)

Something to consider.

Google+ Is Now the #2 Largest Social Network In The World
A recent report by Global Web Index has revealed that +Google+  has now surpassed Twitter in active users!

If anyone has yet to see the value in Google+ as a platform to build an audience for their business or brand, they seriously need to re-think some things.

These numbers might be inflated, as anyone with a Gmail account has G+, although they may not use it. That said, it's not going away anytime soon.

Sometimes, I think academics can be the dumbest people on the planet.

I wrote something about teaching email structure in first-year writing.

Questions, thoughts, comments, and rants welcomed!
I get a lot of email. I probably get too much email, and my students often find the amount of email I receive to be shocking. I explain to them that I network with many people, I write for many public venues, I collaborate on academic projects, I teach many classes, and I belong to several ...

I like the fact that if I say attached in the email, Gmail warns me if I did not attach the thing. Which is good. I often forget.

My new column for the Minnesota Daily. I have to be honest: I get a bit cantankerous in this one.

I think this is what I'm going to do at #4C13 . It's all tentative, of  course, and I love to just go with the flow. So, we'll see. :)
